Try a differnt milk. Make sure you are using the spring attachment. My best froth comes from skim milk and a teaspoon of fat free liquid vanilla creamer.

Try resetting to factory settings by holding both buttons down while turning the machine on - hold till lights stop flashing. Then programme both espresso and lungo buttons again in the usual way.
Hope this helps!

CitiZ swap outside casing

I've stripped the casing from this model and it isn't difficult, though you do have to be careful. You should check out the Service Manual for the machine to first to decide if you're up to the job. The service manual is readily available online, just Google, 'Nespresso Citiz Service Manual' and you should get it in PDF format. The manual explains the process for dismantling and re-assempling. It also conatins wiring diagrams for all versions. It looks like the casing is the same, regardless of country. When I stripped mine, I didn't have the specialist Nespresso tools for the job, but carefully inprovised using small pliers instead of the special oval screw driver. BEWARE...any remaining warranty will be invalid if you carry out any work on the units!

The last couple of times I have used my milk frother on my Nespresso Magimix has overflowed creating a mess. Its almost as though the pressure builds up and forces the milk to overflow. Any ideas?

Flashing red light. Nespresso Citiz & milk coffee machine.

problem is overheating at a single point in the bottom of the milk container. Try cleaning the milk residue after each time you use it and the flashing red light disappears. This is a design fault. Nespresso are happy to keep marketing the Citiz but there is no fix - so the Nespresso "mess free" coffee machine is a bunch of flannel - good coffee all the same!
