Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet

1 Answer

None of my keys are typing or functioning. I have to use the onscreen keyboard which is very difficult to use. Toshibha Satellite A135- S4427 model. Any help would be appreciated. I tried reloading the drivers and even used the recovery disc. I have also observed during the recovery disc only F10 and F11 shift function lit up on the thin plate beneath F10 and F11 keys. Thanks Anil

Is the keyboard on the toshiba satellite a135-s4427 backlit and if so how do i activate it

The Toshiba Satellite A135 series stock keyboard is not backlit, and that model only supports one type of non-backlit keyboard, which is interchangeable with several other Satellite series. Here is some extended info on the keyboard for your model: http://www.machinaelectronics.com/store/buypart/Toshiba_Satellite_A135_S4427/K000044100

No control over laptop

I had a similar problem. It turned out to be a stuck key on the keyboard. Depress your arrow keys several times and see if that helps. You may need a new keyboard.
