Question about Dryers
I have worked on the hotpoint ctdoop and the vtdoop in every aspect of repair. I can replace the belt on these machines within about 15 minutes or so but it takes a long time to get the hang of it. For the basic diy person, changing the belt is very very difficult to do. The only way to do this with out breaking your heart and the wife and kids running out the front door from all the cursing and swearing, is to strip the machine down to the base and replace the belt. As i said, once you can manage this, its only a fifteen minute job once you know what you are doing, but i would suggest you call out an engineer to do the job for you.
