Question about True TD-95-38-LT Beverage Cooler

1 Answer

Yes I have a True 95 38 Beverage cooler and I bought it new 4 years ago , I have used it for 3 and 1 year it just sat not running , well I plugged it in the other day and it is only blowing warm inside and not getting cold , but the air is blowing out of the vents in the back and sides what could be causing it not to cool down and get cold inside ? I have checked the coils and they seem to be pretty much clean .

Could be many things... A bad thermostat, bad compressor, bad compressor start relay, refrigerant leak, moisture in the system, or even a blocked capillary tube. You would need a lot more information... mostly only the kind a technician can get by getting his hands on it. Sorry.

I have a beverage air MM14GE cooler that hasnt been on for over a year when i plug it in it turns on but doesnt cool, what can be the problem?

Verify that the compressor is actually running. You should feel it vibrating. If the compressor runs with no cooling most likely the refrigerant level is low.

Have an 86 marquis 5.0L that keeps over heating, I've replaced the water pump 4 or 5 months ago and it's now doing the same thing again. Sometimes I can make it 3 or 4 miles and sometimes 20...

If the radiator is quite old check the condition of the fins on the cores as they are probably flaking off and not transferring the heat. IF you find that the radiator is blocked I would suggest a good block flush out before you fit new radiator or it will block up from the gunk in the block. Replace the viscous fan hub as this is a prime source of overheating especially at idle. Check the timing and distributor operation. Check all rubber hoses for cracks and vacuum leaks as a lean running motor will overheat. have a pressure test done on the transmission as a gearbox that has sat for so long will have gum deposits inhibiting correct operation of the gear box and this will cause box oil getting hotter than normal which is transferred to the cooler in the radiator tank. Ford radiators are barely good enough at the best of times so an external cooler for the transmission is a very good idea for both the engine and the box oils.

True cooler td 65 24. what is holding the sled in place

I think you are referring to the condensing unit that the compressor sits on. Look on the rite side of the unit near the bottom. There you should find 1 3/8" screw that runs through the side of the unit into the "sled" thus holding it in place.
