Question about Pool & Spa

1 Answer

Hallo, I have a jupiter sand tilter type 14. I would like to replace the sand inside. I have taken oof the glass on the top and released the screw cap from the bottom to let out the water. My problem is that the jets inside the top don't move I had hoped to flush the sand out through the water outlet at the bottom but very little happens even when I put a hose pipe inside. Help please.

The only way I've heard of or have been able to do myself is to scoop the sand out, or when the sand is dry, you can use a shop vac.

Can grains of sand be used for fuel?

No sand is merely a fine silica glass and is inert.

Putting it in your fuel tank will wear out your engine in about a week.

Is there anyway to remove scratches from inside glass on inside oven door of a Wolf?

There isn't any safe way to sand down glass by yourself. If the scratch is really bad, I suggest contacting Wolf for a replacement glass. Here is their site for replacement accessories.

How do you use the Yamaha CSAT-930 Tiered Cymbal Stand Attachment?

Take the tilter off your existing Yamaha (700 or 800 series), attach the CSAT930, and place the detached tilter onto the CSAT 930. There is a set screw on the CSAT930 and you would disconnect to place your cymbal (or hihats) allowing you to stack another cymbal on top.

How to remove spark plugs. 2006 buick lacrosse cxl.

The front spark plugs should not be a problem. The rear are accessed with use of an "engine tilter". It can be purchased at many auto parts businesses, I purchased mine from NAPA. However, you may have to order one on-line as it is "an unknown item" as many of us are unaware that it even exists and I am sure that the mechanics and techs want to keep it that way. My cost in 2009 was in the $35 to $80 range for the tilter. It may sound a little scarry using it because you loosen the upper (literally right up on top where they are most easily accessed) mounts, but it is easy. I found that no electrical, air flow from filter, exhaust, etc., had to be loosened or removed. You only remove one side and install the tilter. Next you adjust the "tilter" to remove tension on the other bolt. Finally, simply screw the adjuster toward the front of car until you either have enough room to access the rear plugs or until you run out of bolt threads at which point you have as much room to do the job as any tech/mechanic. As usual, remove the old plugs (I only do one at a time which also eliminates crossing plug wires) and screw the new ones in several turns by hand to make sure that there is no cross threading. Once you are satisfied with your level of maintenance, simply adjust the "tilter" back to a point where the loose motor mount accepts the bolt to front frame, tighten it, remove the "tilter" and reinstall the second bolt. It really is that easy, but you will want to protect your paint with a proper cover as you do have to lean heavily against the fender or fenders. Oh, by the way, many mechanics skip the difficult-to-access plugs, knowing that when they, or it fails, you will be back. Enjoy, you will feel like a real pro, knowing that your job was done correctly and is complete!!!

Cleaning inside glass door, kitchenaid range

you do no tneed to remove the top to release the glass, yea aslong as the lower trim is removed then the only thing holding the glass, is the grease/sticky rubber gaket. lift up from the bottom slightly and twist out from the tabs. just be carefull when cleaning inner door glass, those "ridges in the paint, are just that paint, so dont use anything abrasive, youll ruin the finish!
