Our siemens gigaset A2 is flashing. All I can see is menu flashing, a full battery and two dots on the left. You can't dial out or dial in. Please could you help. I have lost this instructions manual. Many thanks.

First pull the battery fron the handset, pres the register button (Page) for a long time, eg 10 sec, then register the handset through the menu, setings, handset, register
I have similar problem with my gigaset 4000 micro, i bought 600mah NiMh bettery and when I start charging it charges cca 3 min and displays that battery is full and it doesnt charge it any more. I can speak max 12 minutes and phone starts beeping that battery is empty. What should i do to make phone to charge this battery properly.
Try this:
Pick a handheld, press Menu - H/set settings - Reg Handset - Select Base 1, enter 0000 as password. Now on the bottom of the base station press and hold the Register button in for about 10 seconds or until the h/set beeps.
