I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am how do i set the traffic, program, info, buttons

You don't set these buttons. The traffic button scans Radio Data Service (RDS) information from radio stations near you for Traffic information. The Info button changes what RDS information is displayed for the current station.
The numbered preset buttons are the only buttons on the radio you can program. Too program a preset, tune the station desired and hold the numbered preset button down until you hear a beep.

How can we preset radio stations on RD-N1

I'm not familiar with this particular stereo but typically radio presets are programmed by manually seeking out your favorite channel. Once you' be tuned in, press and hold the button (usually numbered 1-5 or 1-6 for preset programming) hold the button until you hear a beep or the display flashes briefly. If this is a newer touch screen style radio, these instructions may be antiquated and most likely insulting :)

LG LX-M240 operating instructions: I cannot set the presets

Owner's Manual is PN 3834RH0020U
On pg13
1. Press TUNER/BAND to select AM or FM
(Leftmost rectangular button on left of volume knob)
2. Select station by using TUNING +/-
3. Press PROGRAM/MEMO on the remote
A preset number will appear.
4. Press PRESET +/- (or PRESET ^/v on remote) to
select the preset number you want.
5. Press PROGRAM/MEMO again. The statio is stored.
6. Repeat above for more stations.

Believe you can store up to 30 stations.
Stations on presets 1, 2 and 3 take longer to 'kick in' when listening to the radio
as they are the 'tens' prefix for the preset numbers. 4 - 9 'kick in' immediately.

Preset Radio Statios

I just dug out the manual and have now programmed a preset.

Instructions:
1) Make sure there are a pair of working AA batteries behind the second (inside) compartment door as these power the memory (mine were Duracells with an expiry of 2001 and had worked all the way through to 2010 before finally failing!)
2) Find the frequency you want with the Up/Down button
3) Press the M button - you will get a flashing M on screen
4) While the M is flashing, press one of the numbered preset buttons.

Radio Code and procedure to program it in

I am not sure what you want to program? The radio presets or the entire radio. I don't believe that you have to program a radio to a specfic vehicle from Ford in 2000. I think you can just swap them out and they should work. The 2006 and 2007 you have to program the radio to the vehicle. If you are just trying to set the presets just hold the button in for about 3 or 4 seconds and the preset will be on there. If you are trying to diagnose a problem with the radio then hold the preset #5 and #6 at the same time for at least 2 seconds and release them. It will go into a self test mode and check the system out. To exit the diag procedure wait at least 10 seconds from touching any other buttons then press preset #6 to exit. Good luck.
