I hope you sent your machine to a professional as it happened to me before sent it in and he did such a great job. I however have such a problem, never seen such a terrible program to run. When I bought my machine 4-5 years ago I had a terrible time getting the program to run. No support by accident I think is how I finally got the program to work. I have the CE 200 which I had serviced but by the time it got back we had decided we were selling and moving. The sewing machine sat in the box for 2 years, I now am trying again to make the program work. Two days of hours of install / uninstall new laptop stripped that will be for only my sewing machine, as everytime there is updates for your computer this program doesn't work again....I tell you if I had known before I bought this machine the problems there would be making the program work, I would never have bought it.....

It must not be inserted right, check your manual and if you do not have it handy, go to singerco.com and download one for free. You can cause real damage if it is loose, so be careful that something isn't broken and not letting it seat right.

Mine does the same thing. I sent it back to the company and they fixed it. I sewed on it for 3 days and it is broken again. I belong to a futura group on face book and apparently there are a lot of people with this same problem.

I have had the same problem. The first time was shortly after I bought the machine. I sent it to a repair shop. Unfortunately, the repairman had a heart attack and it took me a while to get it back. When I did, I had to go to the shop and search through box after box of screws, as the repairman had thrown the screws in a box with tons of others. Of course, the originals were the only ones that would fit. He really only game me a new bobbin case, which worked for a little bit. The machine is doing to same thing now, after setting unused for a year or so. I am beyond frustrated, since it won't even sew.

Your problem sounds like the thread is jamming under the bobbin basket. This can be caused by the retainers for the bobbin being out of adjustment.

With the embroidering, some of the bobbin thread is SUPPOSED to show on the top of your embroidery-the machine isn't doing anything incorrectly. You'll need to thread your bobbin with the same thread as you are using with the top. I had the same "problem" when I first got the machine and took it to a wonderful local technician whose helped me with a lot of things who informed me that this is perfectly normal on embroidery machines.

Bobbin thread is coming to top when embroidering. I have changed needle and re-threaded several times

Just an FYI-the bobbin thread needs to match your top thread. The majority of the thread that appears in the top of your embroidery actually IS the bobbin thread. The machine is working correctly. Don't use a bobbin full of white thread-instead, thread a bobbin with the color your doing the embroidery work in to match and you will have a perfectly beautiful embroidery.

Bobbin case is popping out, and machine is birdnesting

Usually when this happens the bobbin is in wrong, replace it make sure the thread is going out the right way, make sure there is no lint or small pieces of thread around or underneath the bobbin area. Make sure you thread it with the foot up. Also make sure you are usng the right bobbin for the machine. They can easy get mxed up.

Futura ce-100 embroidering in the wrong place

I decided to simply start from the beginning and start all over. I turned off the machine, detached the embroidery unit and blew into the sensor (where the machine and embroidery unit connect). I'm not sure what the problem was, but it was fine after that! Just goes to show that no matter how frustrating things can be, it pays to just take a moment and start over!!

Thread bunches under metal plate when embroidering

I can not solve this, but mine is doing same thing. I have tried weakening and strenghtening the tension with no luck. Mine does not do this on lettering only pictures or that is all so far. Mine is an older model that I purchased used from a good friend but she did not use it much. Someone told me to clean under the bobbin plate (not sure what you call it where the dog feed is at) I have done that but it still does the same thing. If you find out I would love to know what you find out.

Dear Magarita, The safety device is activated when thread gets entangled around the bobbin case. First check by removing the plastic see-through plate. If necessary remove the 2 scews on the metal needle plate and remove the bobbin case completely. Put it back and test by turning the handwheel. It should turn freely.

Hope this solves your problem.

Can't seem to embroider

brothers frame is much smaller I think 4 x 4. I have futura 200. found this to happen at first but now now. Make sure when threading that you floss the thread through the top part, it has plastic over it. The thread must fit properly in this part. (flossing means to run back and forth a couple of times holding thread tightly). Also, hold the 2 thread ends when you first start to embroider. Hope this helps

Singer futura ce-100 embroidery machine

Under the embroidery attachement (on the front side) is a lever to engage or disengage the "feed dog control." When embroidering, you need to move the lever to the level to disengage. The feed dog control should only be at the righe side position, or raised when you are not using the embroidery attatchment.
