Hi,

1 GRATE

2 Burner Assembly
3 REGULATOR

4 VALVE WHEEL
5 IGNITER KNOB & SCREW

Hi I have 2 burner - fd0e6e7.jpg
1)Blow air into the valve wheel connections so the blockages will be cleared.
2)Remove the burners and clean it perfectly.Dry the burners using hair dryer and remove the parts and clean everything perfectly.Burners will be screwed with two screws.
3)Knob switch could be also could be problem, small dust particles will block the flow of current to bypass switch.
4)In some Coleman 2 Burner Propane Stove models the Ignitors are prone to defective. They go bad when use for long time.Replace it if it is defective ignitors cost very less.Remove the screws to change the ignitor.

post a comment for further assistance.
Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

Control knob doesnt adjust flame height?

Use a manometer to insure lp gas pressure is correct. The regulator for the stove may need adjusting. The air mixture adjustment may not be correct for PL as well.

My Coleman Seirra grill will not get to a temp greater than 300 degrees, even on high. Please advise. Thank you.

Does the flame height, when turned to HIGH on the burners, appear to be lower than normal? If so, it's one of two things:

1. You are low or about ready to run out of gas in the tank. Check gas level in tank.

2. The grill's regulated is partially locked up. Turn the tank valve OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the grill first and turn it to HIGH. Did the burner light and does the flame height look correct? If so. light the remaining burners the same way. Do ALL of the flame heights look correct? If so, you solved the problem. Remember to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If none of the above solved the problem and (hint) the burners are clean and not clogged. You need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can purchase one at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. They run about $30.00. Take your old one with you, just for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks and Happy Grilling!!

Having just converted my Vulcan Endurance G36L Range from Nat. Gas to LPG Using the following parts recommended by Vulcan : New 1/2 psi pressure regulator, 6 size 51 hood type top burner orifices,1 size...

The oven safety valve has to be cranked down for propane.themobilian_815.jpg
Get a good fitting wrench and tighten this spud down and open the air shutter on the burner.
This video shows how to tackle a crank down and flip type LP conversion whilst yours might be a bit more fancy it still must be adjusted like any other stove:

Installed stove, no flames on burners?

It may still have air in the system, turn on one burner on and allow the gas to flow with a lighter in the path of the gas see if the gas lights of at least explodes I mean until it goes Poof, once it does that if it does not light then pull the top off the stove and adjust the vents on the pipes to focus the flames and how much air is blended in with the gas, also turn the burner so that the holes are half way open, I am not sue about your stove but most have an adjustment by turning the burner 1/4 of a turn to change the flame characteristics. if this does not help post here and I will see what else I can find out on your stove. I need the modle of the stove and the regulator number where the gas hooks up.

Coleman 424 Dual Fuel -- High, yellow flame

Are you pumping the tank up all the way? I have the same problem if I have too little pressure in the tank. The instructions say pump 35 times. Try pumping 50 or 60 times- that seems to help.

Also, you can't light this one like an old 425. My old stove you could turn the gas on and then take a match neat the burner. For this stove, hold the match near the burner with the gas off and quickly turn it on.

These are two things that seemed to help me with the same problem.

There is water in your fuel. Drain the tank and flush it out with denatured alcohol. Refill with fresh fuel.

Having a problem with burners not generating .

so you have a yellow flame, not blue?
my mate had same problem. He now uses unleaded, adding 10 drops Redex to a gallon.
He was also told not to overfill the tank - just 3/4 full.
Works much better but he says not perfect.
