Question about Ace Hardware InSinkErator Badger 5, 1/2 HP Garbage Disposal
About the least dangerous way of cleaning it out would be with a vacuum cleaner. You may have to break the glass up a bit to get the pieces small enough to pull into the hose or perhaps use the suction to hold the pieces to pull out of the unit. Last resort would be to remove the unit from below the sink and invert it to remove the glass. You would have to disconnect plumbing to do this, but it might be the only thing you can do. You could also find tools used to pick up dropped parts that operate with a claw at the end. They are about 18-24 inches long and certainly small enough to fit into the drain. You can get them at home stores for less than $10.
