Hi,

You could try an alternative way (which is faster too!) to transfer the photos.

Please eject the Memory Card and insert it into a card reader, then you will be able to just copy and paste the pictures to any selected location on your computer.

Do give it a try and let me know in case you face any further issues.

If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be more than happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will look forward to your feedback and positive rating

    Hi,

I just noticed your feedback on my response to you for this query.

Please let me know whether you tried the solution I suggested and also, in case you ran into any issues while doing so.

I will definitely suggest alternatives if my original solution does not fit your requirements.

Do you have a Memory card reader handy?
In case you do not, I would like to inform you that you may also use the inbuilt card reader on a laptop, printer, scanner etc. to insert the Camera's memory card and transfer your files to the computer.

Please let me know in detail if you have encountered any issues while trying this solution and I will help you further to resolve this issue.

    Looking forward to your inputs.

How do i factory reset. My dell latitude e6430?

You can't really factory reset a computer. You could try Windows System Restore. If you have Windows 7, then your computer has probably been make "restore points" that will let you go back to the state of the system on that date. Maybe there's a restore point close to your purchase date....

Want to go thermonuclear?
  1. Back up all your files. I'd make 2 backups.
  2. Make sure you have all the CDs that Dell sent you with Windows and drivers. If you didn't get those disks with your computer, call Dell and tell them you need them; they should ship them for free. (It seems like Dell decided a couple of years ago that almost no one was using those disks, so they stopped sending them out with new computers.)
OK, here comes the thermonuclear part. You are about to erase *everything* on your hard disk: Windows gone, programs gone, files gone. You will have to reinstall Windows and your programs, and restore your files from backup.

These instructions are for Windows 7, but should be close for other versions.

To install Windows 7 using the Custom option and formatting the hard disk

To format your hard disk during Windows 7 installation, you'll need to start, or boot, your computer using the Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive.
  1. Turn on your computer so that Windows starts normally, insert the Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive, and then shut down your computer.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Press any key when prompted, and then follow the instructions that appear.
  4. On the Install Windows page, enter your language and other preferences, and then click Next. If the Install Windows page doesn't appear, and you're not asked to press any key, you might need to change some system settings. To learn how to do this, see Start your computer from a Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive.
  5. On the Please read the license terms page, if you accept the license terms, click I accept the license terms, and then click Next.
  6. On the Which type of installation do you want? page, click Custom.
  7. On the Where do you want to install Windows? page, click Drive options (advanced).
  8. Click the partition that you want to change, click the formatting option you want to perform, and then follow the instructions.
  9. When you've finished formatting, click Next.
  10. Follow the instructions to finish installing Windows 7, which include naming your computer and setting up an initial user account.
Now you have a spanking clean computer.

I cannot install my dell A940 printer using the CD to my Toshiba with windows 7

Often, older printers do not have drivers for Windows 7. Mostly because the manufacturer decided that this printer is too old to develop new drivers. The only possible solution would be to use Windows Vista drivers. Vista drivers are similar to Windows 7 and have worked for me in the past.

Need drivers webcam for windows 7

Currently there aren't any drivers for your computer with Windows 7. Dell only offers drivers for your computer with Windows XP or Windows Vista. I would try using the Creative Labs Webcam Driver they have for Vista. Since many things about Vista & 7 are similar, often the drivers for Vista will work with Windows 7. Go to dell.com, enter the model of your computer, choose Vista as your operating system, then go to Input Devices, choose the Creative Webcam and download the driver to your desktop (I suggest against using Dell's Download Manager, just download via your browser like you usually would). Then install the driver. With any luck your will be up and running with your webcam.
