I did buy some two part liquid epoxy that i was going to use with a paint brush to apply. The spider is still attached to the woofer it is just the rim that came apart from the magnet. The epoxy says will not bond with polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. Do you know if the plastic of the rim is this type? Would the official speaker glue work with the plastic regardless of the type. I read on a forum you could use a gel type superglue or gel type loctite. Thanks.

You will want to use official speaker repair glue, which can be found at this link:

And yes you want to apply it all the way around the rim of the spider to ensure that it stays together as well as possible. Subwoofers are very tough to repair since they move so much,, that is why Kicker will not repair them. If you purchased it with a major credit card, call your credit card company and see if they have an extended electronics warranty. They may just replace it for free for you. Most credit cards do this.

I believe it is polyurethane so I would avoid using the epoxy. Yes gel loctite would work just as well, and is easy to find. Did you see the part about the credit card possibly even warrantying it? It even covers physical damage like this so you may want to look into it. That speaker glue does work on all kinds of plastic speakers, but gel loctite is honestly just as good :).

Its good that the spider is still attached, that will make the repair being a success much more likely.

Sorry if I had any typos, this keyboard is going crazy on me.

loctite is probably just as good as an

2 kicker cvr 12's in prewired kicker box with 1 wire terminal, kicker cx1200.1 amp. Whats the best way to wire this combo?

Well you really can't run both speakers on one term. because you will over heat the amp , unless your amp is rated at twice the capability of your subs , Then if so , Try positive to one sub , then neg. to the other sub , then bridge the remaining positive to the remaining negative terminal , But it is really best to get a two channel amp for your subs !!!

I have a 2011 gmc sierra and im putting a kicker comp vr 12 in there and i was wondering how much airspace i would need the box im looking @ is .98 i hope its enough airspace and its ported box

For optimal performance there is really only one size for the box .Firstly, you get two different types of subwoofers, an open air, or closed air sub. If it is an open air sub ( hole with mesh in the center of the magnet) no ports are required, and the box should be sealed on the inside with silicone sealant. If it is a closed air sub ( no hole in the magnet) you need a 50mm port about 120mm long. If it is a 12 inch sub the box size will be 13 inches x 13 inches x 13 inches. Hope this helps

Can a kicker cvr be fixed if it is blown if so how

Speaker lesson here. For space and time, I'll not get into certain nomenclature. Working from top to bottom, you have the cone, rubber surround, basket, spider, voic coil former, voice coil, and the magnet. The binding posts are connected to the tensil leads which connect to the spider and the voice coil. As the woofer is positively + and negatively - charged, it creates a magnetic field which moves the woofer up and down. There is a small gap between the magnet and the voice coil and former that's called a magnetic gap. This gap is what helps the speaker to move up and down, and creates the Xmax. The Xmax of the woofer is the maximum linear excursion the woofer can travel without causing permanent damage. With a blown speaker, normally the voice coil and voice coil former have been pushed out of the correct magnetic gap, usually around the top of the magnet. That means that the only way to fix it is to take the woofer completely apart. My suggestion is to just go and spend the money. A blown speaker is a sign of abuse, and voids warranties from the majority of companies out there to include Kicker.
