If plugged into skimmer, you can get a regulator and turn down. if plugged into dedicated line you should have a valve at the pump to control suction and turn down.

My kreepy krauly wont clean the deep end of the swimming pool.

Your situation is unusual in that most of the time these will stay in the deep end and not get to the shallow end. Make sure that your hose is the proper length and the hose weights are in the right positions

Up to 4 feet water, 1 weight at one foot away from Kreepy
4-7 feet water, add a second weight at 6 feet from Kreepy
7-12 feet water add a third weight at 10 feet from Kreepy.

It can take some trial and error to get the Kreepy to cover the whole pool. This includes adding or removing hose sections, and adjusting the pool return "eyeballs" to different directions.

Kreepy bull shark gets stuck in the corners and stains (dark brown/black) the pool where it is stuck.

There are several things that you can do to prevent these pool cleaners from sticking at steps and corners. First, your return line water flow might be positioned incorrectly to force the cleaner toward the corners. Check for this and use the eyeball diverter valve to redirect the water flow if necessary. Make sure that your automatic regulator valve is installed properly and free of debris. Make sure that you have proper hose balance (the cleaner should set at a 45 degree angle to the pool bottom). Adjust the hose weights if necessary. You may need to add a wall climb restrictor or a ladder guard. If none of these correct the problem, consider adding the Thruster, which aids in random pattern coverage by automatically repositioning the hose to help free the cleaner from obstacles.

I have great water pressure in my pool, but the minute I attach my Kreepy Krawly, the pressure drops and there is a large vacuum in the pump reservoir. the Kreepy hardly moves at all thereafter.

It sounds like your you might not have all of your suction lines closed. Check to ensure that the main drain and all suction lines are closed, except for the suction line to which Kreepy Krauly is attached. If this is not the problem, it could be that the pool pump and filter system that you have may be too small It should be capable of providing at least 25 gallons per minute. These are common issues with these pool cleaners.

Cleaner is on bottom of pool

Make sure that the main drain of your pool is closed. It could be causing the Kreepy Krauly to stick. This is often a problem with this type of automatic pool cleaner. Also, check the return line water flow and adjust it if necessary. Hose balance could also cause it to stick on the bottom of the pool so make sure that it is weighted correctly. Finally, check for debris in the pump and filter baskets and also in the flaps of the cleaner. Debris can impact movement in a major way.

Hi, I bought my Bull Shark Kreepy Krauly recently and from the start it lifted up at the end and does not move flat on the surface of the swimming pool. Please assist.

If it has never worked properly, it could be that your pump and filter system are too small for this particular automatic pool cleaner. If you don't feel that this is the case, there a few things that you can check. Make sure that there is not debris in the flapper. It could be causing a loss of suction, making the pool cleaner rise off the floor of the pool. Also, check your water flow coming from your return line. It could be too high. You can adjust it with an eyeball diverter if necessary.

My Kreepy Krauly won't move. I've checked the hose for holes and also replaced the vinyl suction cup on the bottom but it won't budge. Doesn't appear that there is much suction. Could it be something...

Yes, it could. Check the filter and pump for debris. This could severely restrict movement in these pool cleaners. Also, check the flaps of the Kreepy Krauly for debris. Also, check to make sure that the main drain and ALL suction lines, except the one the cleaner is attached to, are closed. This might also be why you have a lack of suction. My final suggestions would be to check the return line water flow and make sure that it is strong enough.

My kreepy krauly seems to have good suction, but moves very slow. I usually hear a tic, tic, tic, tic, But, lately it has been tic....tic......tic Very Slow

Try these suggestions to get your automatic pool cleaner working properly:
• Check to ensure that the main drain and all suction lines are closed, except for the suction line to which Kreepy Krauly is attached.
• Check for debris in the filter or pump basket.
• Check for debris in Kreepy Krauly’s flapper. Debris may prevent flapper movement or restrict flow.
• Check the hose to ensure there are no leaks.
• Check the vacuum connection. It should be submerged so no air enters the system.
• Check the pump basket lid for looseness, cracks, and worn or missing O-rings.

My Kreepy Krauly works for 10-15 minutes and then stops hammering and sits on the pool floor. I have replaced and checked parts and the pump runs well.

you may have a hose that allows air to get sucked in at times when the unit moves and the hose with crack is able to float to the surface and make contact with outside air. move hoses around and see if that helps you can also start from the closest connection at the suction port and lift the hose out of the water one section at a time hold it out of water for a moment and see if you notice any weird feeling or hear a slurping do this section by section until you get to the last hose section at kreepy head
