My Honda EB3500X Shuts off when auto throttle is switched on making me run full throttle at all times. Cause? Solution?

if your engine shutting down, then your auto throttle is working.
when you hit the switch watch the throttle arm move on the carburetor to the idle position,if so you may have to clean the carburetor jet and fuel nozzle ports.possibly this occurs when unit has been stored for quite some time.once jets are cleaned it should maintain idle.

Stalling at low idle

I don't know this specific car. But, if it has one, check your Idle Air Valve. This can cause the engine to stall. If you can hold the gas pedal and the engine will continue to run until you let off the gas, it is likely the IAV. It will not necessarily cause the engine to run rough. That could be a number of things like spark plugs, wires or dirty injectors. It could also be a compression problem. Is the check engine light on?

Toro parts

Probably your carb needs adjustment. There are usually 2 jets on those carbs, one for the start and idle, the other for the power load. Use your manual to find the power jet adjustment screw, then follow directions to turn the adjustment screw in 1/4 turn increments until it doesn't stall under load. If you don't have the manual go to: www.shoptoro.com
Find the manual download for your model.
Wish you the best!

My Woolf 900 generator starts fine initially. When put on load (600w) it is reluctant to get up to speed (45secs) but eventually gets there. When load is taken off it doesn't go back to idle and event

Does it have and automatic idle? If so cut it off and see if engine can run at 3600rpm no load. If still stalls, your jets(brass tube) have something blocking holes and carb needs either a real good clean in a dip, rebuilding, or replacing.

The saw stalls when under load and at high speed, runs good at idle and mid speeds, when you pull throttle all the way back with out load saw will bog down and die.

Check the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Make sure the carburetor is solidly mounted to the engine. Hope this helps!

Idle drops off

Hi Kenguidas, high idle on fuel injected models can be casued by a faulty IAC valve located on the top front of the induction module. It has either failed electronically and needs to be replaced or mechanically getting gummed by contaminated engine blow by. You can try cleaning the unit by removing the air cleaner and backing plate, unplug, unscrew and remove the IAC. Using carb cleaner and " LOW " volume compressed air to clean the metal pintle and shaft that is spring loaded and has an operating length of just under 1 inch. Aventurous souls who did not heed the low air warning have launched pintle and spring into parts unknown. There is no guarantee this will work but worth a try since a new one is $50 Good luck

My 3500 wont idle up when somethings plugged in

It will only idle up under a load if you apply a load and nothing happens the governor, governor shaft, spring, or linkage is at fault. Check to make sure all these are connected and working freely and not binding. This applies to all small gasoline generators.

Low idle stalls out

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls at stops and low erratic idle speed and rough idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve (IAC for short), they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Dynex Wireless-G Desktop Adapter is making my Win XP freeze within seconds after logging in. I've tried uninstalling, installing about 5 times. I'm doing everything by the install directions, nothing seems to help. It's a Compaq Presario Desktop.

Any help would be appreciated

Windows loads on every other boot.

Let's try running a memory test program. http://memtest.org/
Scroll down till you see the three screen shots. Just under them pick you're choice of bootable media to test you're memory.
Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)
or
Download - Pre-Compiled package for Floppy (DOS - Win)
