Question about Decisioneering Crystal Ball 7 Standard Edition (STD0700SFP1)

1 Answer

I bought a brand new sealed box of Desicioneering Crystall Ball Standard edition from an Ebay reseller. When I tried to install it asked for a license key which is not included in the box. I called the current Crystall Ball support which are Oracle support and they said that it is an out of date license and cannot be installed. The Ebay reseller says that the product was sold "as is" and that it was stated in the ad which is true. What can I do? Is there any way to get the license for this software? Even that I got it for a redduced price it is still a very expensive software. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your help, David

Ball joint repair and how do you do it

To perform the following procedure, the lower control arm must be removed from the vehicle. Refer to Removal And Installation for that procedure.

  1. Using a screw driver or other suitable tool, pry the seal boot off of the ball joint assembly
  2. Position receiving cup, Special Tool 6758 to support lower control arm when removing ball joint assembly. Install Remover, Special Tool 6919 on the top of the ball joint assembly.
  3. Using the arbor press, press the ball joint assembly completely out of the lower control arm.

NOTE: When installing ball joint in lower control arm, position the ball joint in control arm so notch in ball joint stud is in the direction shown. This will ease assembly of the ball joint to the steering when installing pinch bolt.

  1. By hand, position ball joint into ball joint bore of lower control arm. Be sure ball joint is not cocked in the bore of the control arm, this will cause the ball joint to bind when being pressed into control arm.

  1. Position control arm with installed ball joint, in an arbor press with Receiving Cup, Special Tool 6758 supporting the lower control arm. Then center Installer, Special Tool 6908-4 on the bottom of the ball joint
  2. Carefully align all pieces. Then press the ball joint into the lower control arm until it is completely seated against surface of lower control arm. The ball joint is correctly installed when there is no gap between the ball joint and the lower control arm. Do not apply excessive force against the ball joint or the lower control arm.
  3. Install a NEW seal boot by hand as far as possible on the ball joint. Installation of the seal boot is to be with the shield positioned as shown.

CAUTION: Do not use an arbor press to install the sealing boot on the ball joint. Damage to the sealing boot will occur if excessive pressure is applied to the sealing boot when it is being installed.

  1. Place Installer, Special Tool 6758 over seal boot and squarely align it with bottom edge of seal boot. Apply hand pressure to Special Tool 6758 until seal boot is pressed squarely against top surface of lower control arm.

CAUTION: A replacement ball joint is not pre-lubricated. Properly lubricate the replacement ball joint using Mopar Multi-Mile grease or an equivalent. Lubricate ball joint after seal boot is installed but prior to top of seal boot being pushed down below notch in ball joint stud. Air must vent out of the seal boot at notch when grease is pumped into ball joint, failure to do so will balloon and damage seal boot. Do not over grease the ball joint, this will prevent the seal boot from pushing down on the stud of the ball joint.

CAUTION: After the ball joint is properly greased, clip the end of the grease fleeing off below the hex. The ball joint seal boot is non-purgeable and further greasing is not required and can result in damage to the seal boot.

  1. Reinstall lower control arm on vehicle.

I just ordered Jessica McClintock perfume and did not order Alicia Silverstone's diet book. Please correct the order at once. Thank you.

You might need to check too if you bought it directly from Amazon or thru Amazon Marketplace. Amazon Marketplace means that you bought it thru a reseller that displays their products in Amazon. In this case, you might need to contact the reseller directly.Phone numbers are usually located in the invoice you received. Never open the wrong item's packaging nor put any markings on its box. This will let resellers charge you a restocking fee which costs around 10-20%.

Remember to ask for a return shipping label if this item shipped from a reseller.

Where can i get the software it didnt come in my box

You did not specify the brand and model number of your device. Nor, you did not mention any application that you are trying to access.

If you bought a device, but it does not come with a disc, you must check first the content lists. Make sure that it should come with a disc. Then, contact the reseller and exchange your device with a new box.

Or if you don't feel sending the device back to the reseller for exchange, let me know the brand and model number, and I'm going to check if there's a software that can be download off the web.

Thank you and good luck!

ABC can receive requests via phone, e-mail, or real-time (text) chat over the Web. Most of the requests are standard; therefore, the help desk personnel?s knowledge and skill levels are sufficient to handle them. In rare cases that a request needs to be processed by the development or maintenance team, the help desk employee still logs the request and then passes it on to the appropriate group. It is ABC?s policy that requests are handled on a first come-first serve basis, and a request in the queue is processed as soon as a help desk person is available. ABC does not allow their help desk staff to multi-task, because over the years they observed that they should pay individual attention to each client. Distributions of incoming service requests for different time periods are given in tables 1-3. Between midnight and 8am, the probabilities of an incoming request being through e-mail, web chat, or phone are 0.45, 0.4, and 0.15 respectively. These probabilities are 0.25, 0.25, and 0.5 respectively between 8am and 4pm, and 0.3, 0.3, and 0.4 respectively between 4 pm and midnight. Service time for e-mail requests is uniformly distributed between 5 minutes and 1 hour; service time for phone requests is normally distributed with a mean of 18 minutes and standard deviation of 10 minutes, and service time for web chat requests is given in Table 4. The costs related to help desk staffing are simply the cost of labour (help desk staff wages) and the cost of lost business. As for labour cost, ABC pays $700/week to each of the help desk staff, each of which will be working one of the shifts every day for 7 days a week. As for cost of lost business, ABC is worried that the recent expansion of their business into new areas, which will result in the high demand levels depicted in tables 1 through 3, will cause their service levels to decrease too much. They predict that unacceptable service levels could in turn lead to loss business either in terms of lost clientele or shrinkage of the volume of business from existing clientele. Examining data available from industry has led them to assume that the amount ($) of lost business from each minute of delay in responding to a client request (phone and web-chat) will be random with a triangular distribution where the best, worst, and most likely values are $0.15/min, $0.30/min, and $0.19/min respectively. The delay for these channels can be defined as the time that is elapsed between the arrival of a request and the start of a response. The cost of delay for e-mail requests (defined as the time between 45 minutes after the receipt of a service request and the time stamp on the response e-mail) is uniform between $0.09/min and $0.19/min. The decision that ABC is facing is how many Help Desk staff to assign to each shift to minimize help desk related costs. Your job is to help them with this decision by simulating these costs (weekly) using Crystal Ball. Note that generation of good alternatives is essential to come up with a sufficiently low cost solution. Therefore, an essential part of your solution will be your strategy in the generation of these alternatives. The cost estimates should be based on 500 replications (weeks) of the simulation. Your analyses should be accompanied by an executive report summarizing your analysis and justifying your recommendation. APPENDIX ?
