Im looking for a picture of a heller cd55 dryer with the back off it. Mine has a broken terminal and not sure where it goes its the 2 light blue wires.

The thermal cut out device on the left of the picture which I see only one wire going to, should have a second terminal on it. It is similar to the one on the right with the red and orange wires.

How to fit belt on Creda Reversair 37643 Tumble dryer

New belt is very tight, so you have to use more strength. Put it on motor and all other on "drum". Spin it easily and slowly but with strength until its done.

Be carefully, use gloves.

The dryer does not turn, but will turn by hand, how do you unlock heller cd55 dryer?

It won't tumble If your dryer doesn't tumble, check these: Belt Motor Door switch Belt Dryers have a drive belt that turns the clothes drum. If the belt breaks, the drum stops rotating. Then you need to replace the belt, and often the idler pulley, because the pulley tends to wear out at the same time. Click here for a belt installation diagram Motor If the dryer motor only hums when you press the Start button, the motor may be burned out. Here's how to test the dryer motor: Remove the belt. Check for obstructions in the blower fan housing. Manually rotate the shaft of the motor. If the motor is very stiff, or impossible to rotate manually, and the blower fan housing is clear, you need to replace the motor. If the motor rotates freely, run the motor momentarily with the belt removed and the blower in place. If the motor runs fine with the belt removed, there may be a problem with the idler pulley or the clothes drum. Try to rotate the drum by hand. If it is very difficult to move, correct any problem with the rollers or pulley, and then reassemble the dryer and try it again. If the motor hums but doesn't rotate on its own even with the belt removed--yet you can turn it freely by hand--you usually need to replace the motor or the motor start capacitor. Door switch Your dryer can't operate at all if the door switch is defective. It's inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

I have a Heller CD55 clothes dryer, it turns on, draws in air (i think) but doesnt turn or dry my clothes

Sounds like a broken drum drive belt.. Ours does this about once every 6 months.. When it was in warranty the first few times we'd wait the 3 weeks for Heller to post the belt (and the second time, a replacement overheat-cutout sensor, as I was getting sick of having to open the back up and reset it) to the local service place.. Then I got sick of that, and we just take teh 15 min drive to our local appliance parts place, and pickup a 'CPD 7 RIB' (part no 0198300011) belt from a fairly new model simpson dryer, which has exactly the same belt..

I probably wouldn't suggest trying it if you're not a home handyman, as it means pulling the back off, and disconnecting a few wires and undoing a few mounting bolts to get the new belt around the drum, but it's only a 10 minute job if you know what you're doing..

If you want to take it to your local service place, just make sure they realise that they don't have to go to the hellar importer to get the replacement belt - a current model simpson belt fits fine :)

PS, they're 192cm long, 1cm wide, 7 'ribs'..
