You have 3 options.

1 send it in to MS 100.00 + 3 week turnaround

2 do what's called an " x clamp mod" This fix is sometimes short
lived and it may damage the P.C. board. kit 30.00

3 have a shop reflow the G.P.U. with no less then a 90 day
warranty 50.00 -80.00 depending on the warranty

That's it

If you have any questions just ask

How should I hook up my xbox to the back of the television using the red, white, and yellow wires? It is hooked up but I am not getting any audio. Thank you.

First make sure your video cable is set to TV not HDTV

Then plug the 3 RCA cables into the color coded slots on the TV. Make sure you aren't using the red cable from the component RGB but are using the red cable for sound (next to the white one).

Then, if you still have no picture, start the console using the controllers Xbox button and hold "Y" and "RT" until the console restarts. this will reset the video settings on the 360 to default.

Follow this guide if you get confused:

and for the video reset about halfway down the page:

My xbox 360's sound died when i was playing my game

This is super rare, only heard of a few incidents with this happening. First try borrowing a friends video/audio cord and hook it up to a different tv as well. Could be the audio jack. Also if your using hdtv make sure you connect all the cords except the yellow.

Audio working, no video hooked up correctly

If your Xbox 360 does not have display you need to stop the heat getting to the chips. You can actually do this yourself as many have in this forum using the recommended Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Basically the guide will show you how to stop the heat build up with videos and household items, of course if you are in doubt send it in.

It has a preview video on the website.

Or of course you can send it in to have it fixed.

I plugged in my Xbox 360 and then i moved it to a different wall then put it back to the original place it was in the beginning now the sound cant work

Check the audio/video cable. Make sure it's securely in the back of the TV and console. If you still have the same problem, hook your xbox up to another TV on which you know the sound input works. If the problem persists, you no know that it's not the TV but the xbox. You could purchase a new audio/video cable from somewhere like Best Buy. If the new AV cable didn't work, you could take it back to the store and then give Microsoft a call at 1-800-4MYXBOX. Good Luck!

My xbox 360 turns on with 4 green lights but i can not see any picture or sound

it sounds as if you have a connection unhooked or loose somewhere. Double check all audio and video cables are secure and in the correct position. If that doesn't work try troubleshooting by trying a different tv or removing all connections from tv and xbox and re-hooking everything back up.
