SOURCE: How do I fix a broken steele line on a John Deere

Your old line most likely broke off at the end of pipe due to vibration, your new one will come as a kit with a clamp to prevent it happening again. To replace it all lines must be removed from steering pump along with driveshaft and carefully put the new one in.At the dealer it takes about 1 hour depending on the tech to know what hes doing.

SOURCE: john deer tractor the lifte is goning down when

The valve that lifts is letting fluid by. Causing it to drop before it lifts. You can take the valve apart and replace the O'rings. This will solve the problem of it dropping before lifting.

I have a John deere 2651. I tested the main pump but continue to have the same problem. When the lift is raised I struggle to turn the steering. Al filters was also chnaged. Where does this pressure relief...

is the hydraulic fluid level correct ??? sounds like you're running out of hydraulic fluid. because if your trying to turn as your raising the lift then i could see a problem but if it's lifted and you're having an issue then fluid comes to mind first
