Kenmore Series 70 Top Loading Washing Machine Model # 110.20722991 Serial# CL 1134809 Hello, Our washing machine is leaving our clothes soaking wet when finished. What could the problem be?

2 things are possible. Can you tell if the spin cycle is engaging? If the spin cycle is not engaging properly or very fast, then the water will not leave the clothes. less likely is that the machine is not draining the water away properly or fast enough.

You need to replace the element, it is defective. When you wash with cold water the element does not turn on, but as soon as you use hot water, the element would need to go on, then it comes into contact with water and "click" goes the power.

Hope this helps

Take the agitator apart by pulling off the softener cup and taking out the bolt, probably broken plastic DOGS. Ask your appliance parts guy for them.

My washer wont empty out while spining.

The drain line is probably clogged. Maybe that a small sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump. To remove it from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub and try to remove the clothing through the port. Good luck
