Just go into sound config on your computer, select your speakers & problem solved. happened to me when i changed my service pack with vista. for some reason speakers switched to bluetooth after install. just changed them back in your sound config, problem solved..

I got a new computer, and I want to be able to access my HP MediaSmart Server LX195, but I can't seem to find a Windows 7 64-bit driver for this. Where can I find the driver?

How exactly are you looking to access your server PC. Do you just want to be able to transfer files to and from it or are you looking to remotely control its desktop?

I recently just bought a new laptop (compaq presario cq56) it has a webcam and all but its says please turn on the webcam, how do i turn on the camera?

This document pertains to HP Notebook PCs with Windows 7 . A webcam is built into the frame above the display screen on some HP notebooks. Since there is no power button or desktop icon for the webcam, the only way to test and use the webcam is to open a webcam application. Many of the applications used in Vista, such as CyberLink YouCam and QuickPlay, are incompatible with Windows 7. However, HP offers the MediaSmart suite for Windows 7 which includes a webcam application. HP MediaSmart Webcam can record videos, take snapshot photos, add text and animations to the image, track your movements with an avatar, and allow you to adjust the settings of the webcam. Many people use their webcam in a video chat. You can use HP MediaSmart Webcam with most third party video chat programs. HP calls my HP Pavilion dv9417cl Notebook PC a "Vista PC" and will not support it after I upgraded the OS to Windows 7. Nvidia doesn't appear to be of any help either. windows auto update keeps...

You should of used the Windows 7 Advisor before upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista. The advisor will indicate the hardware and software updates and changes you'll need before performing the upgrade. If you've already installed Windows 7, you can go to the Microsoft Update page and see what kind of updates you need for Windows 7 to work in you laptop. Also, go to the HP website and check the drivers download page for your computer with Window 7 installed, download the drivers, and then install them one at a time for each device. You won't need to talk to a human to do this.

Won't boot up; the blue lights keep blinking on and off

It seems that your boot file mght get deleted due to many reasons. As migrating from old os to Windows 7 put the old os in window.old and the but file might be shifted to it. So as the non use file stored in window.old might be deleted so the boting would be fail. Reinstall the vista or 7 as you wish.

Hi, Quick play would not work in Windows 7. When upgrading from Vista to Windows 7, some media programs are no longer compatible and will not be found in your Start menu. HP provides replacement programs for QuickPlay and other media programs with Windows 7 MediaSmart software. Plz go to below link and you will get all appropriate software?s of HP Mediasmart. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01929858&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN In this link you need to download the drivers used in HP mediasmart webcam and all other stuffs. I can't open HP MediaSmart Webcam

w2558hc
what PC?
what OS? stated,
nobody can help you , unless the whole system is stated,
in details.
guess :1:
it wont work as supposed to because you have added other non HP software related to CAM, and they are in conflict.
remove that conflicting software
or do a HP OS refresh. using HP restore.
