Most of the small telescopes setting circles really cannot be used to find anything--- just not accurate enough---
Try using a star chart -- and star hopping --- to what you want to see.

You can assemble one from parts from a well stocked hardware store-- take the broken one there and have them give you a suggestion --- and

They do not sell parts for these low cost telescopes. However you might find what you need inn the bolt and nut section of a well stocked hardware store.
