Question about Craftsman Saws

1 Answer

Yeah, I sure could use some help. I have an older craftsman table saw. It is a Flex-Drive. Model # 113.241691. I acquired it from someone that didn't have the manual. Needless to say, that leaves me with many problems. Right now, the problem that I have is that my blade is not parallel to the miter gauge. It is wider when I start my cut, then at the rear of the blade, it is closer to the miter gauge. Any suggestions??....thanks for any help. Also, does anyone know where I can get the Manual for this saw??......thanks...Don

Have an older Sears Craftsman 10" Table Saw, model

you should be able to order one from sears. another place to look is ebay. the round plastic thing is to mark with pencil the cut of the blade. put in your sliding miter Gage set at 90 deg. put a piece of wood on it, push forward and cut the wood then slide back and mark the wood position on the plastic. that's the point where your blade cuts

I am not getting either # from sears parts. I deal in Craftsman Belt drive table saw parts. I should have a switch that would work for you. Can you send a picture? jimatcavanaungh@cs.com

I have recently replaced my 29 year old craftsman 10" table saw with a new switch. In trying to turn it on, the motor hummed, slightly oscilated and tripped out the wall breaker. I checked the Sears parts...

You may find a replacement motor on ebay. I deal in Craftsman Belt drive table saws, yours looks to be a direct drive. Sorry I wouldn't be much help with those, Jim

INSTALLING NEW BELT

Exploded view shows this to be a direct drive saw, so there is no belt.
