I moved your post out of computers and internet category because our computer guru gets very upset by questions like this in his little domain.
Pretty much all questions need a clear
make model (what it is)
to solve, or at least some good detailed images. The serial number makes very little difference as it is usually just a sequential number that may of not have a date code in it. It looks like your item may be a Troy Bilt Chipper? Does that make sense. You also don't mention what the issue is?

No longer manufactured. Suggest you search eBay for a used switch.
It would be possible to replace the original switch with a generic switch OEM-725-0267A but may require relocation for mounting and other wiring modifications.
The spring at the end of that cable is what releases the idler from the belt. Another pic of the spring is near the idler arm Ref. No. 13 on this view:
TroyBilt no longer wants anything to do with their older chipper shredders, so no luck there. However, it is a Briggs and Stratton engine and gas tank and I just called them at 800 743 4115 and ordered a replacement gas tank. They will need the engine numbers (on the opposite side of the gas tank below the muffler) to find the gas tank part number. Mike Ryan
my chipper had problem with wiring issue that the battery isn't able to take up the electricity supplied to it.. u know, the conductor between them..
if possible get a manual from reliable-store to fix it urself thats I did
