Where is the air filter for a Goodman # CAPF036A2A

If this is a case coil, they do not have a filter area, the filter is normally either installed in the return air grill or needs some type of filter installed just upstream if in a down air installation in a closet. If it attached to a furnace, there is a space provided by most manufactures for a filter installed just before the air return. If the furnace is in the attic or in a crawlspace, I never install a filter in these areas, but put a return filter grill in the return path.
Hope this helps

Does the filter for the Intertherm furnace go in the top or bottom of grille?

They usually go in the door. There is a wire that hold them in on the door.

check your air filter, a very dirty filter will cause the unit to over heat "180'" The burners turn off the unit cools itself with the blower and then relights.

Where is the furnace filter located on the furnace of a Goodman Furnace?

Hi, this is a pretty generic answer, so it's really more of a guideline.

Some come attached at the bottom of the furnace, and are generally removed when the unit is installed. If it's there, it pulls out like a drawer.

Most furnaces are installed on a platform, which is really a box (plenum). Below the platform, and opening to the room, is a louvered grate. Air is drawn in through the grate and into the furnace. The grate has clips on it to keep it closed. Loosening the clip(s) allows the grate to be opened. The filter is usually behind there.

Best regards, and hope that this helps,

We have an Armstrong Ultra SX 80 furnace. I can't seem to find the filter on it. Does it take filters and if so, where should they be installed?

The filters should be installed either in the return air vent or on the return air side of the furnace.

Hi, sometimes depending if the unit is an up flow or down flow that depends where they put the filter. If you don't have a return grill in the ceiling, then it would be in the bottom of your furnace. I am sure its hard to remove as it is new, but i am sure it is there.Sometimes there is a grill on the lower wall beside the furnace they could have put it in. They may not have installed one? Good Luck, Sincerely, Shastalaker7

Where is the furnace filter located on the York P3CGD12N08001B

Residential furnaces have exterior filter boots supplied by installer, commercial york units have filter access doors. If this is a roof top unit your filters would be in the door to the left of the blower compartment.

Can't find where the filters go on the Ruud, Zephyr model furnace.

Usually a Filter rack is installe don the outside of the furnace for easy access....if this is not the case , turn off the power and carefully remove the bottom panel of the furnace (The top may have to be removed first)....The edges are sharp so use gloves....the filter should then be immediately on the inside left or right side of the furnace depending on which side the return air is on....if no filter is present do you have an Electronic air Cleaner???? In that case no other filter is required...if all else fails and the furnace is under warranty call the Installers back

Code #33 on Bryant 355MAV 90i Furnace

'Limit or flame rollout switch is open'. In my case, the flame rollout switch had tripped due to an overheating? I had to push the button between the wire leads to reset the switch. Then when I turned the power back on, the furnace started up like normal.

Why did the switch overheat and trip? My current theory is that there was a rubber grommet around a pipe near the switch that had slid down and was no longer sealing the furnace?

Furnace filter on model gmt070-3a...

look in and around where the blower motor is located. there has to be a filter compartment there. probably near the bottom as it looks like an upflow heater. make sure the filter door is closed. it may have a door interlock switch that cuts the burner out if it is not fully closed.
