Question about Dell Vostro 200 Desktop Computer
Ok, theoretically you could put whatever motherboard you want into it, But if you don't buy the same motherboard then your windows key / license is technically invalid,
As a technician i run into this alot, If your license came with the computer then it needs to remain with that computer, You can not legally put that operating system with that coa code onto another computer, If you are replacing the motherboard with a different motherboard then it is now a different computer and therefore not allowed,
That said. there are ways around it but again not legal, If you added the operating system yourself from a retail package then you can transfer it to a different computer,
Also when you replace the motherboard if you don't have the same one, then your computer may not boot anyways because the hardware configuration will be different and windows may not load..
My suggestion buy the same motherboard used on ebay or take it to your local computer shop.
