You should talk to someone you trust who knows something about computer programming. There are almost as many programming languages as there are politicians in Washington. Each one has advantages. It depends on what you want to do. Programs for a microwave oven or automobile emission control module are made differently than programs for the web.

HP System Software Manager

The HP Remote Support Software Manager is an application installed on HP desktops and laptops, that enables Remote Assistance on the computer for HP personnel access. This Remote Support client allows a technical support representative from HP to see and control your computer to assist you with making changes on the machine. The HP Remote Support Software Manager may be safely uninstalled from the computer. Uninstalling this application will not affect any other functions and features. However, you should create a Restore Point prior to uninstalling any software just in case problems arise with the changes. Create Restore Point in System Restore Click the Windows "Start" button and then right-click on the "Computer" entry. Click "Properties" from the context menu. Click the "System Protection" link in the left navigation pane. Click the tab labeled "System Protection" and then click the "Create" button. The Create button label indicates that this action will create a System Restore Point now. Type a description for the manually created Restore Point and click "Create." The System Restore Point is manually created. Uninstall HP Remote Support Software Manager Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." Click the "Programs" link in the Control Panel. Click "Programs and Features." The list of installed programs will appear. Locate the HP Remote Support Software Manager in the list and click the entry. Click the "Uninstall" button on the top navigation bar. Type the "Administrator" password, if prompted, and click "Continue." The program is uninstalled from the computer and the entry disappears from the Programs list.

Is there any driver, program or software fix that will allow me to load my "Intel Create & Share Software on my Windows 7 Dell Inspiron 530?

The Intel Create & Share was written for Windows 2K and XP and not updated. The workaround is to use a computer (second machine, dual boot or virtual) with XP installed.

If you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate or update to one of those versions, you may be able to run a virtual XP computer for free. Download from Microsoft and install in order the Virtual PC program and the XP mode software. Install the Intel Create & Share program in XP mode as if it is your only OS. (Note: you can't have hardware installed on the virtual and real computer at the same time. To share files you will need to save them to external media (USB or optical disc).)

Other virtual computer programs are VMWare and Parallels. For the other options, you will need a licensed version of the older Windows OS.

I hope this helps.

I am the administrator and every time the computer reboots it dumps any new files...need to update security files, etc??? what do I need to do?

it depends on where the files were created . To be exact , were they created while using the Internet , or while offline using program software on your computer's hard drive , such as a word processor program or some type of integrated office software . If it was on the Internet , you will change your Internet history settings and / or file download save options . Furthermore , to save online files to your computer without being dumped at reboot , a specific folder must be created on your computer for them . Basically , a root folder , and within it , sub folders for each file you wish to keep .

My Great Brain Robbery is old and says it works with Windows 95, Windows 3.1 & MacIntosh. I have Windows XP and can't seem to get it to setup. Any ideas?

1. Create a shortcut on the desktop for the setup/install program on the CD. 2. Right click in the shortcut you have created and select properties then click on the compatibility TAB at the top of the dialogue box. Tick the [Run this program in compatibility mode for] box and select windows 95. Then click [OK]. 3. Double click the Shortcut you just created and the program will install. 4. After it has finished installing find the shortcut it has created for the game and repeat step 2 for this new shortcut. It should now run in windows 95 mode.

Windows cannot open file. to open this file, windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automaticaly or you can manually select from a list of programs on your...

You will need to know what program the file was created in. For example...If I were to send you a file with doc at the end of it you would need Microsoft word installed on YOUR computer to be able to open the file. Get in touch with the person that is sending you the file and ask them what program they created it in. Then you will know what program you need to install on your computer.

Hope this helps.

Can not fine away to retreive two deleted file that came with the pc

Hi shorty 58, thank you for using fixya.

any file created in roxio creator can be found or retrieved even if it is deleted. This can be done with the use of a file recovery software. specific to most roxio created files I have gone through is Recover My Files. (just click on the link and use the free trial). You may run that on your computer and just look for the file created through roxio.

should you have other question, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Regards,

Voodoo

Looking for instructions on creating self booting recovery disc

I use a program named Paragon Backup 8.5 which does 'hot backups' . I alternate between two external drives. One always creates a startup CD. This program writes in ISO format and can restore your computer to where it was when the lights went out.even if you have to install a new hard drive. This may not be the solution you are looking for but it works for me.

To create a software

Believe it or not, creating software is easy. Especially these days with the object oriented programming OOP's. A program is just what it sounds like, it is a list of what will happen in order, just like you would see at a concert.

Basic is the best way to start, Beginners All Purpose Symbolic Language. It is the best way because it is in english and has few parameters.
Learning a language is all about learning how to format the commands. Apostrophes, commas, semi-colons, etc have meaning when you input the commands.
You just need to think like the computer does, very literally. A computer does nothing and knows nothing until a programmer tells it what to do. In basic you have certain input/output devices, and everything else is internal.
Okay, here is what you are after:
print "what is your name"
input: X
print "Your name is": X
end:

Need to Know fully info about Macros

Macro is a simple way to automate tasks in Microsoft Office programs. It allows advanced users to program or create their own commands in Office, thereby automating tasks. For example, a user might want to create a table with four values already in them. The user could create one, and then copy it, and paste it. However, when you restart your computer, that data is lost. Unless you open the old document and copy the table, you'll have to start all over again. Macros helps you do your tasks. By recording the table creation to a macro, creating the same table over and over is just a simple macro away.
