You could just call Brother customer service, and they may be able to guide you. The phone # 1-877-276-8437. You have a very nice machine so you don't want to have just anyone look at it, be careful who does. My sister learned the hard way. Good luck

Thread is stuck inside my innovis-v7. can you tell me how to get it out please

Where is the thread stuck???

If in the bobbin area, cut the top thread, then try to remove the bobbin case. If unable to, gently clip threads and pull them out piece by piece until you can remove the bobbin case.

If the top thread is stuck somewhere inside your machine where you can't get to it, you may need to take it for service.

Bernina 1630 keeps shearing off the needle thread resulting in a break and re-threading the needle.

Your machine may have a gouge (snag) somewhere in the thread path that is catching the thread and cutting it. You'll need to locate that area. You might wrap your finger with an old piece of hosiery, cheesecloth, or a fine knit fabric. The rough spot will catch the fabric as you run your finger around inside the machine. If the spot is small, it can be smoothed using a fine emery board or something similar. However, if it is large, the part may need to be replaced.

Thread Cutter won't cut

I had the same issue with my Brother. I took it apart (by the booklet instructions) and found a thread tangled inside. I pulled it with tweezers, (used a light and never use can air). I cleaned and oiled after finished and my machines have been working perfectly since then.
Good Luck!

How to replace a broken spool pin on a brother xr40 sewing machine?

Search for:

Make Model replacement parts

Vendors like Sewing Parts Online may have what you need. If not, you may be able to fashion a replacement using a cut-off chopstick, a plastic drinking straw, etc. Some machines work just as well with a stand-alone thread spool set off behind the machine. Sewists sometimes will set the thread spool inside a jar behind the machine.

Keeps cutting the thread from inside the machine

Make sure all of your threads are in between the tension dials. Sounds that the machine isn't catching because of the tension. Good Luck
