Question about Olympus SP-350 Digital Camera
If the settings will not allow the flash, it's possible that the flash capacitor, xenon bulb, or hv transformer are bad, or it could be another hardware/software problem. The camera will have to be disassembled to check the components, and a service manual would help tremendously, but they're hard to find. I would run the camera in to a repair shop, and see what they think, and what they would charge for repair. If they want too much, of course, it's often better just to get a new camera, if the need for the flash justifies it.
Wish there were an easier answer, but if you've checked all the settings, then it's got to be another issue.
Good luck to you, hope this helps, and thanks for using FixYa.
