Sir, Is there a drain plug at the base of the pump? I have a strong leak around where the "broken" drain plug is permitting water to leak around the threads in the housing--is this possible? Please advise how to repair . Thank you for your time and consideration. James Prunty [email protected]

Not too familiar with that exact pump, but pretty much all pumps have a drain plug on the front or side of the pot, and also in the impeller housing. these allow pumps to be drained for winter storage to prevent freezing. you should be able to get a replacement from the local pool supply store. there should also be an o-ring that actually allows the plug to seal. sometimes you can replaces this sometimes it's just easier to replace the whole plug

Samsung washing machine with a error code LE1 what to do ?

LE1 is a low water error code. Does the water pump sound like it's trying to work/making some sound? Check around the base of your machine for water leaks. Make sure the water outlet hose isn't crushed, kinked or blocked and is routed above the base of the washing machine. If you suspect a blockage you can try to reverse flush it by unplugging the machine, fitting your garden hose into the drain hose and turn it on for a short period, then try to get the washer to operate. If the error code is still present you may need to drain the water out of the machine and remove the water pump from the base as there could possibly be an obstruction or foreign matter in the pump housing or the pump itself has failed.

My goodman ac is leaking at the base in my basement. The technician filled the freon R22 and it is still leaking water at the base. Checked the pump and it is working. No clogged or blockage. Please if...

put a level across the top of air handler you may find its leaning away from the drain. your pan primary outlet may have rust or slime blockage permitting some condensation to make it out to your pump but not enough to keep up with whats being generated by the evap coil. the pan may have rotted out if it has a metal one. some plastic pans crack from stress. if the coil has been removed and reinstalled the guide clips on the pan may me misalifned so your pan may not drain before it overflows. wetness there means you probably have moisture or waterbuild up in the ductboard liner for the return. i have removed 20 gallons of water from inside the box before with no indication it was wet until the airhandler was removed and i could see inside it. assess your drain outlets and pan issues by removing the front panels with a 5/16 nut druver. hope this helps.

Our fisher and paykel dishdrawer won't wash. It comes up with F1 and flashing light on control panel.

the dynamo dishwashing stuff has caused foaming which reached the base of the dishdrawer unit causing the flood switch to trip. This gives F1 error.
Not sure how much foaming has occured.

Best to turn off power and take power cable out from socket. then empty the drawer using towels. pull out the bottom drawer and wait a day or so to let the foam disappear from the bottom of dishwasher (under the bottom drawer). Connect the power and see if F1 had gone. If not, you need more work. Post a comment based on the above suggestion and I will guide you further if required. Always use Finish dishwasher power only (recommended quantity) as the drawers are small and don't need much detergent.

I've got a miele g640, and the drainwater motor doesn't stop. The moment i press on/off button, the moment the motor starts to drain water even if there isn't any program started.

Hello,

Your d/w has leak detector built into the base frame out the unit and it has detected the presence of water in the base frame,causing all functions to be overridden except for the drain pump to come on(it is there to prevent water from leaking onto the floor and ruining the flooring in the kitchen) The two leading causes of water in the base frame are;
oversudsing causing water to enter base from vent in the rear of the tub
the seal on the circulate (wash) pump is leaking

Good luck,
Gene

I have cleaned the filter and the rubber boot at the base of the washer i am still getting a f02 code. I was wondering if it can be from the pump it self being out?

what filter,do you mean the cap in the middle of the pump?if so then the pump is bad and needs to be replaced.it's a long drain pump part number is 280187 and it's around 120 dollars.you can press the pause/cancel button twice to cancel the code also how much detergent are you using?you should only be using 1/4 cup of h.e. detergent, any more you will damage the spider gear and then it's time for a new washer, you'll know when the gear is bad,it will bang loudly and the tub will bouce all around, also the pump can't pump out suds and this is a problem.check the pump one more time, loosen the middle cap of the pump, with a shop vac vac up any water that leaks out until it stops and then remove the cap, stick your finger in the pump and make sure nothing is hitting the impellar, most of the time you'll see water in the plastic part of the pump where the motor is or the impellar feels broken or disconnected from the pump and just flopping around when you touch it.put the cap back in,fill it with a little water and put it on drain spin,if the water drains your fine if not change out the pump.

Will not fill. Drain pump runs all the time.

Sounds like flood switch has been activated. They have a float in the base of machine, which will activate drain pump if a leak has occurred. Unplug from power- remove right hand side panel, check to see if any water in base. If so, leak has occurred. Clear water from base and test run to locate leak
