Question about Video Game Consoles & Games

Open Question

We have a Keystone 8 mm projector Model # K-109-Dfrom around the 1958 era. We were watching the old movies, and it worked just fine. The projector is in Excellant Condition. All of a sudden it started making a load clicking noise. It was threaded correctly, however when entering the aperture/pressure plate it was like flapping, which caused the film to blur, and flicker. Any suggestions how to fix it? Are there any local places that work on these. I would really appreciate your help. We live in the dallas/ft. worth area.

SOURCE: PSP wont play games or movies

Go here to update your firmware and x your fingers. Generally, these things happen after you use a new game that updates parts of the firmware without you knowing it.

SOURCE: psp making funny buzz noise and not reading umd disks.

Try a different UMD, it might be scratched. If not, take a soft cloth, and clean the lens. Look on google to see where the lens are located.

I have a Keystone K75. The film will not stay in a loop after going through projector so it goes through too fast and you cannot watch the movie. Any ideas of what is wrong?

When threading the projector you must have a loop of film before and after the film gate (the part that swings open). You can also try turning the projector on with no film in it and make sure both upper and lower sprockets are turning. If this is a new problem you might have a broken belt or gear inside. Take it to a camera repair shop and they can tell you more.

How do you change the lamp in a mod # 980Z keystone projector

There is a black and silver knob under the keystone label( right above the automatic label ) on the side of your projector. turn this knob counterclockwise to loosen the covering over the housing unit for the lamb. once the knob is loosened lift the housing unit off of the side of the projector. You wlll see the enclosure where the lamp fits into beneath it.
Make sure the power is off for your projector while doing so. Screw the lamb into the enclosure , then replace the covering and screw the black knob in clockwise until it tightens.

I cant figure out how to work this movie projector i cant get the movie to load and play on the screen. I have hundreds of old movies to watch. the projector is a keystone k100

Old film projectors are sometimes challenging to operate.
I have an old Bell&Howell and have to stop and think whenever a friend asks me to transfer a film to DVD. (Fortunately not often anymore.)

I just Googled keystone k100 and got several sites including several videos on Youtube.

I'm sure you'll find something in your flavour.

Good luck! Have fun.

Re Keystone 68 projectors:
I join the growing throngs of folks who wish to view their family archives in 8 mm before submitting the reels to the digitals for conversion. Doesn't anyone have an answer for us? I continue to search, if I find, I'll post.
