When i play games the laptop would shot down. prior to shutting down i could hear the fan of the laptop very loudly

Is the Laptop Overheating? During intense game play your Laptop will Overheat if it's not getting sufficient air flow. Sounds like it is overheating... You might want to try replacing the fan you removed.

Some games require more processor use, some less.

If the games that cause your computer to shut down feature high resolution graphics or fast 3D rendering, then the problem could be insufficient processor cooling. Once the processor gets overheated, it goes into thermal shut down.

If, while you play, the computer runs hot before it shuts down (check the cooling fan outlet), then these are some of the possible reasons:

-cooling fan blades could be obstructed by dust - cooling fan needs to be cleaned or replaced

-heatsink radiator and / or air outlet could be obstructed by dust - also need(s) to be cleaned

-thermally conductive grease on the microprocessor heatsink could be
partially or entirely dried up - old grease needs to be carefully removed and new grease applied (caution - do not use any kind of thermal grease that contains metallic particles like silver or aluminium - you might short out the processor - only use the kinds which are electrically nonconductive)

of course the problem could be elsewhere, but the above mentioned problems turn out to be a common issue with many laptop computers after a few years use, regardless of manufacturer brand and model, also it could be any of or the combination of any or all of the above problems (obstructed air outlet leads to more dust being deposited on the fan blades, more dust on the fan and outlet leads to processor overheating which leads to thermal grease drying which leads to even more overheating and so on...)

This is likely a "thermal shutdown" caused by fluff blocking the tiny cooling fins behind the fan.
Reason it does it when you are playing games is likely because that is when the CPU and graphics chip are working at their hardest.
Sometimes you can see / get at the fins and check / clear the cooling fins.
Try blowing down the place where the air is supposed to come out.
This will do 2 things - A = If when you blow HARD you can hear the fan spinning up, then it is not blocked - B = It sometimes clears the blockage.
Many times it is a BIG job to strip the casings off the laptop to get at the cooling fins to clear them, plus you need a very methodical approach to avoid damaging things.

If you boot just into the BIOS screen, does it still fail after 10-15m?

Can you hear a fan running? If not you need a repair shop to fix it.

Check that all the vents are clear of dust.

Make sure you are playing on a hard surface, not your lap or a blanked.

You can buy an inexpensive laptop cooler that goes under the unit. Some have fans that plug into the USB port

These questions will help you determine what is wrong.

1) is the fan still working?
2) Turn the computer off, remove the bottom cover and clean up the inside by blowing compressed air into it. Be sure to remove all the dust and lint you see. Check the fan moves easily.
3) replace the bootom cover and try again
4) DO NOT use your laptop on top of a soft surface. That means no pillows and no blankets or any other type of fabric under your laptop. Do not use it on top of your bed either. Only on top of HARD surfaces.
5) Avoid playing any intense 3D GAMES. Most laptops are NOT designed for game playing

This sounds like either a power supply issue or a CPU fan issue to me. You say you hear a fan spinning loudly. Try and determine which fan it is. Take the left side panel off your case and start your game. When the fan gets loud identify which one it is. It's possible that the heatsink on your CPU is clogged up (pet dander, dust, smoke, etc.) and needs to be blown out. Get a can of compressed air and try blowing out the inside of your PC. It's possible your CPU/video card/power supply is just getting too hot.

It is obvious that your computer shutdown because it is overheating. try to get a chill mat to place it under computer. you said that it does not shut down when is on battery??? do you play games when is on battery?....computers normally overheat during large processing tasks such us playing video games. Try to fans clear do not place your laptop ontop of your bed or anything that will obstruct the fan under computer.

your laptop may become overheated and that is why it shuts down, make sure the laptop is on a hard service so that the fan can get air. hot weather can cause problems as well.

First Charge up you battery while the computer is off. Once fully charged unplug the adapter and play the game...see if it shuts down. If not replace that ac adapter. If it still shuts down... Your unit is overheating most likely. When you play high tech games which cause the processor and fans to run harder once it gets to hot. And most times you can hear the fan running loud on your laptop. 1. check the system requirements on the game 2. Are you overclocking your processor, check your bios 3. Lower the graphics settings and features in your game.. see if it shuts down 3.Or while you are running the game do the follow hit ctrl, alt, del buttons at the same time. A task manager box will pop up. Click on the tab Performance.....what is your cpu usage? 100% if so it's running the proccessor hard. Now in the same box click on Processes, then user name, you will then see all processes that are running at that time. If you want to play the game off line...only!!! you can stop some processes from running. On the bottom right hand corner of your screen by the clock you will see icons that load up at startup. Right click the ones not in use, like virus scan, firewall, other background applications that are running by right clicking over the icon and exiting or closing the application. Now keep in mind before you go back on line you should restart your computer so your security software will reload. Other reasons would be internal cleaning, fan, heatsink replacements and so forth. Which may need to be performed by a professional repair shop. Now they do have a laptop colling pad which have worked for some people. Also these laptops can overheat quickly, do not sit them on beds, and your lap when using ventilation is important. And also you might still want to have that ac adapter checked out. If all else fail... restart you computer in safe mode...try running the game..see if it shuts down. Good luck with your games
