I have laptop 3000N100 model name 0689,my licsence version windows sytem XP has been curupted ,so i installed windows vista but my web cam & sound sytem not working.my laptop is designed for windows xp & windows vista capable. ok please reply me

my friend 1st of all which operating sytem install in ur laptop

if u install Vista/ Win7 you must istall their software dell also provide you..

if u use xp then 1st u uninstall their driver then try it... and also check ur cam cable may be its not work properly.....

Yes you can dual boot any computer with vista and winxp.
Also you can user your web cam with winxp and vista.

then you need to find a tag or text on your computer. it should be Suyin or Bison. when you find what kind of cam you have, just choose the right one.
If you are unsure just find the tag and tell me the OS and I will send you a link with the right download.

the tag name of camera should be back of you computer or under it.

Here is something you might want to try. Go to the Sonix Technology web site Sonix.com and download a driver to the following web cam: SN9C201 It has a version for Mac and Windows and it works on everything from Windows 98 to Vista. It is a little bit larger download (11.8 MB compared to 7.5 MB from Xtatix) but I believe it is well worth it to get you up and running.

It will be helpful if you can give us the model and name of your cam to find the appropriate driver
