This sounds like a computer problem and not really a television problem. Check your driver files.

Try removing your driver files. Then disconnect your AOC monitor. Reboot the computer and login. Shut down the computer and reconnect the AOC monitor. Start the computer. Now install the monitor drivers.

Speakers or not

If your monitor has speakers built in, it's likely that there is an Audio Out port on the back or one of the sides. You can use a simple 1/8" input/output cable that will connect to the port on your monitor and the Audio In port on your desktop.

If you already have that set up correctly and you are still not hearing any audio coming from the monitor, there may be a configuration console that is available after installing the software for the monitor. If you don't see any software installed, find the installation disc and see if there is an application available to install.

If you don't have the disc, you might be able to find the software online at the manufacturer's support site.

You might also be able to change some configuration settings from within the Sounds and Audio Devices console in Control Panel.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hi...my AOC 17" CRT monitor display on the screen says NOT SUPPORTED OUT OF RANGE... i try to change the screen resolution by using other monitor but still nothings happen..

Change to the lowest settings you can on the other monitor, then connect the 17" CRT. If you can see anything, go to display settings and slowly bring the settings up. If you lose the display, press "n" (there is a dialog box asking if you want to keep the settings, y or n). Most likely it is a refresh rate that is set to high. Try setting this to 60 Hz for starters.

Hope this helps.
