I want to give feedback to a seller on my paypal account

How to leave feedback the RIGHT way 18af_7.jpg?set_id=81 Published by mutti74 October 26, 2013 . 14K Views . 2 Comments . 79 Votes So you finally gave in and bought something on ebay? WAY TO GO! Welcome to the world of endless deals and bargains!
Are you happy with your purchase?
Answer: YES! I love it!
Awesome, now lets let the seller know. The easiest way to leave feedback is to simply go back to the page of the actual item. Either type in the item number and click search OR go to MY EBAY and look under "All Buying" under "Won" and click on the item.
Once you get to the page, look towards the top, it'll say LEAVE FEEDBACK, simply click on that and Voi'La you are ready to leave feedback.
Since you are happy with your purchase, rate POSITIVE and write you comments in, such as: "Fast shipping, very happy with purchase." or "Great product, excellent communication!"
We are not done yet, Ebay has integrated a STAR system to rate sellers. You can rate 1-5 stars on "Item as described", "Communication", "Shipping Time" and "Shipping & Handling Charges".
Here is a tip about shipping and handling charges. Sometimes you may not be happy with those charges, KEEP ON MIND: Whatever you bought could have been shipped from the opposite side of the country (or even from another country), so OF COURSE they may be higher than having it sent from 1 end of a state to the other hand!! Those actual shipping charges are out of sellers hands.
All set with your rating? Simply leave feedback and DONE! Easy, fast and simple.
Now......a STRONG REMINDER. I often browse through ebay guides and reviews and TOO MANY buyers mistaken this area for contacting the sellers. This REVIEW and GUIDE area has NOTHING TO DO with leaving feedback or communicating with sellers!!!!! Follow the above steps to properly leave feedback.
What if you are not happy? Follow the above steps to get to your items page and click on (right side of page) CONTACT seller and email them. Whether it is a breakage or the item has not arrived yet. Give the seller some time to resolve the issue and to respond back before leaving neutral or negative feedback. I am a seller myself, as well as buyer. I ONLY result in leaving neutral or negative feedback if:
A: I have a non-paying bidder (new ebay rules NO LONGER permit sellers leaving negative feedback to non-paying bidders, so sellers really have no way of warning others anymore)
B: I bought something, it arrived broken or did not arrive at all, and the seller NEVER responded to NUMEROUS emails over a 2 week period, plenty of time to respond and rectify.
C: The seller told me basically something like "oh well, not my problem".
IF the seller responds and rectifies the mishap by either refunding money or sending out a duplicate item, there is NO reason for me to leave a bad feedback since the seller took care of me in a satisfactory manner.
Personally leaving a neutral feedback would be perhaps if the item I bought took a very long time to arrive (remember overseas purchases do take longer to arrive). If I bought something, lets say from a seller in California and I paid for Parcel Post. That takes 2-9 BUSINESS days. If I am sitting here a month later and the item finally arrives, thats a tad extra long in waiting time. If the seller does not communicate any delay in shipping, that calls for a neutral. WHY NOT LEAVE A NEGATIVE, you ask??? You received the item, riiiight? :o) That is why I would leave a neutral and not a negative.
This takes me to another point, bare with me: CHECK THE SELLERS FEEDBACK!!!!
(Simply click on the number next to the sellers name)
Look at their feedback score, the percentage!!!! If a seller has numerous neutral or negative feebacks in the last 30 days...STAY AWAY!!! Read their feedback and why people left bad feedback.
If a seller has less than 100% positive feedback, check why and how long ago they received a negative feedback, it could have been over a new ebayer not knowing how to properly leave feedback even, one of the reason I am writing this here.
Unfortunately only about 4 out of every 10 buyers leave feedback nowadays, so do not be upset if a seller only leaves feedback once they have received feedback from a buyer. It is a common just-practice.
10/2013 Please note: Ebay's push to offer free shipping on all items and charging an extra fee to sellers if they charge shipping has made the ebay market somewhat unstable and less fun for us sellers. I understand that big companies can offer free shipping on many items and sellers offer it a lot on lightweight items. Please do not expect and let it out on the seller via leaving neutral or negative feedback, if a seller charges shipping on dishes that weigh 5# and sell for only $10. Private part time sellers are here to make some money too, so paying for the item and eating all the quadruple ebay/ paypal fees and shipping the item out for free is just simply unreasonable.

Ebay negative feedback for sellers

if you received negative Feedback from your buyers there are two ways on how you can resolve this,

1. you can send a feedback revision request to your buyers but first you need to deal with your buyer about the transaction.
2. you can email or contact Trust and safety team of eBay. you can use the contact us page or you can email them using the email address [email protected]

Logitech speaker feedback

Feedback is a sharp, loud noise that can come through the earphones of a headset unexpectedly---it occurs when the headset is getting sound (feed) from someone else speaking or playing music into a microphone. This sound can create a dangerous situation for someone who is operating expensive equipment or flying a plane at the time since it can disable hearing temporarily.
If you experience feedback often, it could also lead to serious hearing problems.

Mic Too Close to the Speaker or Volume Too High
The main cause of a feedback sound in a headset is proximity to a speaker. If a person holding a microphone on the other end gets too close to a speaker, it creates a loop of re-amplified sound that results in the loud, screeching noise. When the volume on the other party's microphone is too high, it is more vulnerable to picking up unwanted noise and feedback from speakers and sound output devices in the room. So make sure that you ask the other party to turn down the microphone to a normal level and stay far from speakers. b> Two Microphones Gathering Same Sound b> When the other party places two microphones too close to each other, it could cause feedback. When positioned toward the sound source (such as a person speaking) the microphones will both pick up the same audio and compete with each other when creating the output of sound, causing a sharp noise in your headset. This problem, called acoustic phase interference, is resolved by simply ensuring that the other party uses one microphone at a time. Poor-Quality Headset or Microphone b> One common cause of feedback is simply a poor-quality headset or microphone. Most modern headsets and microphones have noise-canceling features that manage and kill feedback before it has a chance to occur. These noise-canceling headsets are essential for pilots and aviation crew members. If you hear sudden feedback that is strong enough to hurt your ears, the headset or microphone is simply not properly equipped to actively cancel that unwanted noise before it hits your ears. Buy a higher-quality noise-canceling headset to manage the feedback noise when you're going about your tasks. Hope this helps.

WHAT WEB SITE HAS THE TOP 10 GREAT TIPS ABOUT TAKING CARE AND RETAINING CUSTOMERS

Paypal offers some helpful tips:
  1. Make it easy for customers to contact you. Every page should have your contact information including, at a minimum, your phone number.
  2. Respond quickly to potential problems or customer concerns to keep them from growing.
  3. If your business offers online memberships or subscriptions, make sure the process of cancelling is clearly spelled out. This is a common area where customers get upset.
  4. Clearly explain your return policies.
  5. Track what's being said about your business online. Set up Google Alerts on your business name and RSS feeds on your company name on Twitter using search.twitter.com
  6. Decide who will respond to negative reviews and how they will be handled. Give whoever generates the responses the authority to make quick decisions.
  7. Look for ways to turn negative feedback into positive reviews.
  8. Instead of deleting or ignoring them, consider responding to negative comments. If ignored it can just fuel the anger and a disgruntled customer may go to many other sites. It's better to be the first to see and respond to the complaint rather than take that risk.
  9. Ask happy customers for a post about their experience with your business. Blog posts with your company name in the title can show up high in search results
  10. Make it easy for your customers to leave positive feedback online. It's not as motivating for a happy customer to take the time to do this as it is for someone who is angry. You could include links to review sites in emails to your customers and ask them to leave a review online. Just be aware that you cannot reward people for leaving a review.

Want to cancel my bid

Hi,

Please do the following
1 Use the bid retraction form to cancel a bid you have made. Make sure your bid meets the criteria for a retraction. Retract if the bid price you entered was wrong, and then correct the bid amount.

2 Retract your bid if the auction description was changed and you no longer want the item as it is now described. Use the retraction form if you need the reach the seller for some reason and their contact information is invalid

3 Retract your bid that was made before the final 12 hours of the auction, as the option will not be available after that time. Retract bids made during the last 12 hours, only within an hour of the bid

4 Use the retraction feature as rarely as possible, as the number of times you have retracted a bid will appear on your feedback numbers.

Why has my feedback rating gone down??

Hi there!
Feedback percentage is based on the Feedback that you receive within 12 months. Check the Feedback that you received within 12 months in the Feedback profile page and then check if you received neutral or negative the rating will go down as the Feedback you received past 12 months rolls off. Please check this link http://pages.ebay.com/help/feedback/howitworks.html

Hi
There is no easy way. Get the seller's permission for you to opt out of the sale first, then cancel the bid. Be aware that some seller's will give negative feedback for a sale not completed.

I have been happy with eBay,but they do not accept negative feedback, some thing is wrong there

It is eBAY policy not to allow sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers. However, a buyer CAN leave negative feedback for a seller. eBAY seems to favour the needs of buyers rather than sellers.

As a seller, I wold not leave any feedback until the buyer has left theirs. Then if they leave you negative feedback, you can always say something negative in your feedback to them. Even though the feedback cannot be flagged or marked as negative, other people can still read it.

Ebay Problems with Buyer

A buyer is committed once the bid has been placed and won. That's part and parcel of Ebay rules.

I understand what you mean about the 'buyer' being likely to retaliate with negative feedback. Personally, I would email Ebay and explain that the buyer won't actually pay and you're worried about negative feedback. Ask them for their advice and let them sort it out, if they will.

You have of course paid to advertise the watch on Ebay. Not a lot of money to advertise, more of an annoyance factor that somebody has messed you around. The 'buyer' should of course be responsible for reimbursing your advertising costs but the truth is you're very unlikely to recover those.

Email Ebay and explain the situation. If a non-paying buyer leaves negative feedback in retaliation ... well, it shouldn't be allowed. Ebay should be able to either prevent negative feedback in retaliation, or remove it from your rating should it happen.
