Ok I have had this problem recently myself and tried all the cleaning etc and it made no difference. It appeared as if the light cyan wasnt working in the pics - so I did a reset (as found on this forum as an answer to someone elses problem!) and it has now got correct colours - but some black spots.
The reset was the one where you remove all cartridges, turn printer off, disconnect all cables, remove paper and open back panel. Keep off for 5 minutes, reconnect power cord only, turn on and leave for a few minutes, then turn it off. Connect all cables, then turn it on while keeping power button pressed on while it boots up. Reinstall cartridges.

Photograph of a pink sunrise came out grey

Shooting, with a lens pointing to the sun is always risky for the camera. It could damage the sensor. But with a ND filter, perhaps this could. Then when you are shooting in automatic and just jpg, the camera will try to set the white balance, so the sun comes out bright white. It was the brightest spot in the frame. If you shot RAW you could be better off, because the camera did not change anything to the white balance in rte RAW picture. At least you would be able to restore the colour in a photo editor program like Lightroom or Photoshop RAW.
In extreem light conditions, never use the camera in auto. Only when the camera offers scene mode for that condition, you could use that.

You may just have the white level set wrong or the camera in the wrong mode than what you are epecting.
You should be able to reset or set that from the setup menu.

Pictures are pink with lines

The camera is a wonderful Kodak product and takes beautiful 8.5 Megapixel photographs. When you save the pictures to an SD card, you must at some point remove them digitally from the card.
Either by linking it to the USB cable and going from there to your PC, OR by removing the SD card from the camera and inserting it into an SD card slot in your computer, printer, or card reader. Occasionally the card readers such as the ones in your PC, printer, or card reader devices do not connect properly and will only transfer part of the data, resulting in pink ugly lined photographs. This problem can be fixed by using the USB cable instead of the built in card readers in your other devices.
