Hi, I am trying to upload photos into my computer. I plugged in usb cord to and from the camera but nothing seems to happen. Can you please HELP me fix this problem.

The camera will need to be plugged in and turned on for you to be able to transfer pictures from it. Plugging the camera in will not make anything special happen on its own-- if you are using Windows (after the camera is plugged in, turned on, and with your memory card still in the camera), try opening "My Computer" and looking for the camera's icon within that window. The camera (and the photos on the memory card inside) will be shown just as any other CD or jump drive that you would plug into your computer. You can copy photos off of the camera by double clicking the camera's icon, (probably opening the DCIM folder) and dragging and dropping the image files onto some other location on your computer.
i find that alot of times using the camera to unload your pictures to your computer is more trouble them you need to worry about. i say you just pull out the SD or SDHC card and plug that into you computer. if you dont have an SD or SDHC card reader in you computer you can pick up a cheap one for a few dollars online.

its easy to upload your photos..first store all the photos in your desktop which makes it a faster process to upload..(upload using picasawebalbums)..coming to your problem did you try to do the same in some other computer..if its working in some other comp, the check your usb in the comp.try to connect it to other usb hubs nd check it out..

Try using Windows Explorer or a similar folder and file locating program to find the camera. In Explorer, choose My Computer and look down the list that opens. If your camera is "seen" by the computer, it will appear in the list and you should be able to retrieve the pictures from there, just like finding and opening other folders and files. If not, the problem is most likely on the camera or cable, not the software or computer.
