Question about Philips DVP5140 DVD Player
The cause of that problem is the laser lens. The lens wont read and wont go to home position thats why the system fails to respond from the commands.one thing that you can DIY is to clean the lens with a cotton buds dip in an alcohol gently wipe it on the lens.if nothing happens better bring it to the repair shop This might be a lens replacement or a spindle motor replacement,.Thank your for using Fixya please do click the tumbs up button for my rate.
