Hi,
Does anyone know a workaround that will force XP Pro (SP1a) to see my
Panasonic UJ-825-B slimline drive? BIOS can see drive, but XP just doesn't.
We have looked for firmware updates from Panasonic, as well as KB tips
at M$, but still no go. Desperate to get it going.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you.
Regards,
TJ

pls provide us with more details of your PC:
1. the spec of the PC
2. the mobo, brand/model/BIOS version
3 how many optical drives & how they are connected? What kind of IDE cable that is using?
Also pls describe the problems in details; is there any warning messages during the installation of the DVD rom?

Also, try checking Disk Management to see if you can see it there. Right
click on My Computer and click Manage. Now click on Disk Management to
see if it is listed there and just not assigned a drive letter or needs
to be imported.
