This is found in the F80 manual page 99. it means the CPU Nikkor lens (other than G-Type) is not set to its minimum aperture. Solution: set the lens to the largest f/stop such as f/22. This FEE error is the same for almost all Nikon cameras, be they film or digital.

I put new batteries in my Nikon n75 and it keeps coming up with a EEE messge. There is no film in the camera though

I think it's saying "FEE". If so, turn the aperture ring on the lens to its smallest opening (largest f/number) and lock it. You can control the aperture from the camera body, the same was as on a lens without an aperture ring.

I took 18 pictures and the display is saying FEE I cannot take anymore pictures what does this mean?

Need more information..
.. memory capacity, internal and/or expansion (cards), file size/resolution of the pictures....

I would suggest that the memory is full, and the solution is to transfer the 18 photos to your computer and clear out the memory, or add more memory.

If you have an expansion card installed, maybe you need to tell the camera where to store the photos.

Error appears of the screen saying "D:

The problem you are describing is a problem with a sensor in the lens assembly of the camera. It seems to have failed and needs to be replaced. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.

http://olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_servicerepair.asp

Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $76 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.

My DSE memory card says 'write protected'

Hi there, do this:
To fix this, remove the SD card from your camera. Look on the side and you will find a little switch. One end of the switch says locked the other end says unlocked. Move the switch from locked to unlocked. Replace it in your camera and turn it back on.

Thanks for coming to FixYa and fee free to rate my solution.

Panasonic camcorder dv

This problem is in the owners manual. It says that if you press reset and the problem keeps recurring you must have it serviced. Per the panasonic website if you purchased the camcorder greater than 1 year ago the flat fee for repair is about $265. Buy a new camcorder, thats the most cost effective solution.

Upgrade to D60

Hey mcheng,
Since I am assuming you have opened the D40 the store can charge you a 15% restocking fee, but with an exchange they rarely do. Without the restocking fee you would just pay the difference between the two cameras’ prices. Remember the return/exchange period on digital cameras' is 14 days. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
