Some usb keys or flash drives have a little switch thatlocks it & makes it read only. Try looking for something like this. Or youtry following these steps:

For USBdrives:

1. Open Start -> Run...
2. type diskmgmt.msc and press enter
3. right click on the partitin you want to format (where the leter and is)
4. select 'Delete Partition...' and confirm
5. right mose button in the same place and select 'Create partition'
6. select primary partition
6. select , file format, disk leter, label etc should be all right if youleave defaults.
7. click ok

This will recreat the partition and format it in proper way.

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!

When i connect my pen drive to my pc then it gets connected but after that if i try to copy or delete or format the drive i cant because i get error as remove write protection mode and try again

HI there its a reason for virus infested system with pen drive. Your PC & pen drive both are infested by virus. That's why you are not able to deleted or copy or format that Drive. Its a trozonhouse or warm32 virus. I suggest you format the OS and install it again. After that connect the pen drive but remember do not open the pen drive. Straight way format the Pen drive first then open ok. Other wise your PC again virus infected by pen drive virus. Thanks.

Only option you have is to format your pen drive. If U already formatted ur pen drive even though its not working than try with different computer. If U face a same issue than with different computer too than Ur pen drive is corrupted. Format it. that will help U.
