Several things could be happening.... Check to make sure it is plugged in tight, and to the right port. Make sure there is not a breach in the cord, a cat bite, etc.., also make sure that your computer is SEEING the keyboard. You can go to the CONTROL PANEL and look for Perifrials and see if it is connected. Take care..
OH, the last thing, it could be bad, they are cheap, about $12.00, if you think you have a lot of dust or spilled liquid in there, just replace it.
