If I open the screen anymore than about 45 degrees, the light on the screen will shut off. The screen is still on, as is the laptop itself. I can tell because at a certain angle I can still see what I'm doing, but it's very hard to see. The light is off, yet the screen still displays everything, almost as if at the darkest setting possible before considered "black". Please any help! Is the problem in the wiring near or around the point where the screen meets the keyboard?

You problem most likely the video/power cable from the motherboard to the LCD screen/inverter. The inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp that provides the back-light.
This cable may only need reseating the connector on the motherboard or the cable is broken and needs replacing.

My laptop can only be opened at a 45 degree position otherwise the screen is black in the 45 degree position the light and image is perfect.

You may have a faulty video cable that connects the screen to the motherboard or the video cable needs reseating to the motherboard.

Asus z92m laptop doen't startup anymore, no bios screen, just green light on for a second, dvd clicks and runs

Did anything happen recently? If you have an external monitor, plug it into the vga port and see if you get a display on bootup. Does the computer stay on or does it shut itself off right away?

My kenmore gas dryer end buzzer goes off and dryer shuts down before cycle is complete

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Kenmore gas dryer
  • Vacuum with hose attachment
  • Replacement fuse, if necessary
    Dryer Not Heating
  1. Remove lint from your dryer's lint screen. Remove the lint screen from your Kenmore dryer and vacuum the area behind the lint screen with your vacuum's hose attachment.
  2. Check to make sure that the dryer temperature is set appropriately, and has not inadvertently been turned to "Air Fluff."
  3. Ensure that the gas valve on the supply line to your Kenmore dryer is completely open.
  4. Check the room temperature in your laundry room to make sure that it is at least 45 degrees. Your Kenmore dryer will not operate properly at temperatures below 45 degrees.
  5. Make sure that the dryer outlet grill is not blocked by a fabric softening sheet.
  6. Dryer Not Running
  7. Check to see that the dryer cord is properly plugged in to the electrical outlet.
  8. Check your fuse box to make sure that the fuse is not blown, or check your circuit breaker to make sure that it has not tripped. Replace the fuse if necessary or throw the circuit breaker.
  9. Check the outlet itself to make sure that it functions properly by plugging in a portable device.
  10. please comment on these solution on how it works by rating or voting.

Black screen / works on external moniter

When you turn your laptop to different angles can you see extremely faint graphics? Try shining a bright light at it an turn it at a 60 degree angle to your eyes. If you can see any graphics then your inverter board is bad. It it located just below the screen in front of the keyboard. The inverter itself is very inexpensive (about $12). Having someone install it shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. Let me know if this helps you.

Screen goes fuzzy after 45 minutes

If you see a very dim image or black screen or flicking image on the LCD screen it means you have a backlight problem.

Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight.

Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

Screen problem

Perhaps your connections on the inside have come loose. It may warrant you take it to a specialist to check it over before it gets any worse. Some other person was on here some time ago who had a similar problem and all it was is the switch in the lid. Apparently they tinkered with it by just kept on pushing it back and forwards as if to continue to open it and it came right they tell me that they hardly used it thats why!.
