Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I'm new to the computer world and am tired of the popup ad telling me how much I need something quick before I cause serious damage to my computer. Then I'm asked to enroll in PC Tools Spyware Doctor. Who is behind this? I have attempted to delete the Program with no success.... I scan my computer with Malwareb Anti-Malw and the results are satisfying: Malwareb informs me that I have no infections or viruses. When I do have an occasional difficulty with practically anything, iYOGI has almost always been able to fix whatever problem comes up. I enrolled in a 1 year agreement with iYogi. Micro-soft referred me to iYogi. Please inform about what's going on here and how I can fix this frustrating annoyance. Why should I buy something I don't need. I am in low-income Social Security retirement and can't afford to get everything that comes along. r.s.v.p. Yours in trust, Edward Wax

How many kilometers can you drive with a tubeless tire puncture? will it harm the tire or the wheel? at what speed you can drive with the puncture?

Unless you have those "Run-Flat" tires, the answer is "No further than it takes you to safely get out of traffic. One should NEVER run on a flat if it can be avoided, as the sidewalls of the tire can be damaged very quickly. Even with run-flat tires, you still should change it ASAP, but you have a little longer before damage sets in. Your tubeless tires, completely flat and assuming 30 MPH, will probably start showing serious damage in a block or two. Note that tire sidewall damage can not be repaired.

Leaking oil tahoe

The rear seal of the engine could have started to leak but a loose oil pan or damaged oil filter could be a factor.

Service engine soon light stays on . check gas cap , air filter . now engine is sputtering when im going between 45 to 50 mph.

you need to have the codes pulled from the computer to be able to tell what the problem is,if you continue to drive the vehicle you can cause serious trouble and the problem maybe something simple to repair now before more damage is caused.the sputtering could be bad ignition components or fuel filter plugging or even a bad fuel pump.

My computer automatically turns off itself while im doing something.

My computer did that right before my power supply died. They are only like $50 at computer stores like COMP USA. I would start there since they are usually the first hardware to die.

Take care of it quick cause the on and off's can damage your hard drives. If the drives are writing information at that second, they can get scratched and then you're really in a world of ****.

Why i diD n0T uSe thE fAcebook siTe????

Do you have any ad-Blockers? what is your firewall? any popup blockers?
you may need to allow the website through your firewall if its not windows firewall
if you have windows Firewall then an ad blocker/popup blocker is blocking it, allow www.facebook.com through that or turn off your ad blocker/popup blocker
Q: why would an ad blocker/popup blocker block Facebook?
A: Facebook contains elements that are often identified as ads or popups, Most of the content are popups/ads, and as such since the entirety of Facebook runs off popups/ads, that is blocked as a result of being identified as unsafe, do not be surprised, some websites are blocked like this that are actually safe and are otherwise known as False Positives in terms of spyware, viruses, Potentially unsafe websites, etc
Q: Is there a solution? A: Yes, uninstall your popup/ad blocker IF you havent bought actually bought it and download and install Peerblock: http://www.peerblock.com/
for your reference i have mine set to block: Anti-p2p Spyware Advertising
and if you use Google Chrome or something that uses Google Chrome Extensions, install this, it doesnt block Facebook, but blocks all ads and saves your download bandwidth, i cant recommend this extension highly enough :) : https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom?hl=en

Function of lower Ball Joints and Strut Rod Booshing in 1988Mercu

Ball joints are a serious safety issue, especially if they are making noise. Strut Rod bushings slightly less so. I agree with you, if they are that bad you should have heard your noise before you changed the tires. You didn't sat what kind of noise, but the problems he suggested should make a clunk or snap. Your best bet would be to double check to make sure he properly tightened the wheel nuts when he changed the tires, if you have alloy rims they need to be torqued. If he just put them on with an air gun he may have damaged the rim which could make it break and fall off. And take the car to a repair shop that you trust and have them check your front end. They'll be able to tell you what the tire guy did. Don't put it off because you will find yourself in serious trouble if any of these things are the problem.

Front end shimmey on 2004 Maxima SE

It is possible that one of your new tires has what is called a slipped belt which is basically a faulty tire.

If they were able to successfully perform the front end alignment you can almost be sure that all of your ball joints, tie rod ends etc are ok as these really don't attribute to "shimmying" felt in the steering wheel.

The are several common causes of shaking felt in the steering wheel:
1. Out of balance wheel/tire combo
2. Slipped belt in a tire
3. Bent wheel

Your shop should be able to pinpoint the cause easily.

Take your car back to the shop that replaced your tires and tell them what you are experiencing. They can check your new tires again to make sure the belt on them did not slip.
