First of all check for at least 12 volts from the battery and the charger, you can test this using a multimeter, if the battery doesn't show any volts, lift up one side of the blue plastic housing on the top and verify that both the positive and negative wires are plugged in

No, just the shifter. Just to check you can exchange the red and blue wires under the pedal(just for a second or so, do not do this permanently) to see if you get power to the wheels, if so then yes it is Definitely only the shifter, but I am still pretty sure it is just the shifter. you can also call Peg Perego Tech support which is excellent and they can help you too 1800-728-2108 and parts can be priced and found at www.mypegperegoparts.com

My gator just stopped can't get it to do anything

power goes from battery to foot pedal, then to shifter, then to motors. I'd check the shifter switch and make sure that its connected securely, if it is then disconnect one of the rear motors and try again, then reconnect and then disconnect the other rear motor and try again. If the problem goes away with one of the rear motors disconnected then that motor was your problem

I have power from battery to foot pedal but no power from foot pedal out.

check the red and white wires at the foot pedal and make sure that they are showing 12 volts, also check the shifter and make sure that the connectors on the back are connected, you can also try jumpering wires from the battery directly to the motors just to make sure that the motors are good

Our john deere gator won't run

how do you know that the battery is charged? it could be that the charger isn't working. I would check the charger with a multimeter and verify that its putting out enough volts to charge the battery, it should be putting out between 13.8 and 14.6 volts

John deer push pull tractor won,t work.

Hi,
If you have a clicking problem, I would check the wiring on the foot pedal. something is not connected right, which is making the fuse click.
You can contact J&L at this link or call there toll free number. http://www.shopjandl.com/kids---baby-ride-on-toys-peg-perego-switches-and-shifters.html.
They have switches and other parts for these peg perego gators, but I would talk to them to make sure.

Peg Perego John Deere Gator not working at all

It sounds like you need a pedal switch or it has a loose connection in the wires. It is a specific Peg Perego Switch that will fit under the foot pedal. I have a gator that was doing the same thing so i replaced the shifter switches and the foot pedal switch, but I bet you could start with just the foot pedal switch.
I bought mine at this website http://www.shopjandl.com/kids---baby-ride-on-toys-peg-perego.html but you could also call them as well.
Hope this helps

Short from pedal to battery

I would replace the foot pedal switch like the one here http://www.shopjandl.com/mepu0001.html
if it goes in any speed then it is a problem with the switches in the shifter.
You also want to make sure the wires are secure on the foot switch and the motors because the can come loose when the children are riding them.
I would also contact J&L http://www.shopjandl.com/.
These guys know a lot about these peg perego gators and will make sure they help you.
