I have a singer 6268 a few days ago fabric jammed underneath the plate and it threw off the timing. I just adjusted the timing but now it won't stitch the needle works fine but won't catch bottom thread to...

It's a very risky thing for an unprofessional to adjust timing. Very tricky. Is your needle new and unbent? If everything is rethreaded correctly etc and it still won't work then you will just have to take it
for a refit.

Zigzag stitch not catching

try these suggestions and see if they help

Skipped stitches
1. The needle is not inserted correctly
Remove needle & reinsert needle( flat side towards the back of machine)
2. The needle is damaged
replace with new needle
3. The wrong size needle is being used
Choose a needle to suit the thread & fabric
4. The foot not attached correctly
Check & attach correctly

Embroidery machine not pulling top thread on 385.19000

White on top means that the top tension isn't right some how. Now that can be because it wasn't threaded properly with the foot in the up position... or it could mean that you've got the little thread catcher **** on your spool catching the thread and causing problems. Sometimes if it catches it will wind a few layers of thread around the thread spindle the spools sits on. That isn't readily notice until you get mad and pull the spool off.... and finally see it. LOL

Carefully examine the path of the upper thread too.

Good luck.

Bernina activa 210 won't zigzag and has bobbin issues on straight stitch

it's very possible that the machine is slightly out of time & needs to be service at a sewing machine shop
is the fabric & thread & needle compatable with each other?
did you use every thread guide when threading the machine?
is the bobbin in correctly?
is the bobbin warped?

Every 4 or 5 stitches the bobbin thread fails to catch the top thread resulting in skipped stitches

double check needle position and needle type. It will also do this on stretchy material, do to material catching on the thread

Machine jams after a few stitches

Take a few stitches and look for where the thread is hanging as the loop slides over the bobbin case. If there is a rough spot causing it to hang, smooth it out with very fine steel wool make certain to remove all remains of the steel wool when you are finished. If the thread is catching between the bobbin case and some other surface, the clearance between the surfaces needs to be set and you should take it to a qualified repairman.
