I have no sound and i can not see the volume control

It's a possible problem with the driver or the sound card may be disabled. To check if the sound card is disabled or drivers not installed,
1. Right click on "My Computer" select "Properties"
11_23_2011_1_32_29_am.jpg

2. Click "Device Manager"
11_23_2011_1_32_59_am.jpg
3. From the list, you should see a "Sound Controller" and if you click on the drop down arrow beside it, you should see the audio driver installed(ex. High Definition Audio Device... audio driver name may vary depending on the brand of the laptop).
11_23_2011_1_33_43_am.jpg
4. Right click on the sample "High Definition Audio Device" then select Properties. If it says device is working properly then there shouldn't be any problem with your audio.
11_23_2011_1_34_25_am.jpg
** If the Sound Controller is NOT installed properly you need to download the Audio drivers from the support site of your Dell computer, http://support.dell.com , be sure to select the correct model of your laptop and operating system of your computer. Once you have downloaded and installed the drivers, Audio should work fine not unless it is the hardware itself that is damaged.
**Also don't forget to check if there are other external audio output devices connected to your computer, please do test if working properly.
Hope this helps. Glad to be of service.

Acer extensa 4620z sound problem

If you cant hear sound, go to Control Panel and make sure your audio device is installed correctly. If audio device has yellow mark, or some error, reinstall your audio device drivers. If you don't have Laptop CD, you can download your audio driver from here: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/extensa_4620/driver/Audio_Realtek_v5.10.0.5423_XP.zip
If your audio device has no problem in Control Panel, make sure your sound is at maximal level. Hope this helps.

I cant here any audio sound on my computer

There are a few simple things to check first:
• Make sure your computer has a sound card.
You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.
1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌ getopencontent.aspx?assetid=18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category. If a sound card is listed, you have one installed. If no sound card is listed, You will need to install one. See Install or remove a sound card.
NoteIf you think you have a sound card installed but you don’t see it under the Sound, video and game controllers category, expand the Other devices category and check any devices listed there. 3. If there is a yellow question mark next to the name of the sound card, there might be a problem. Right-click the name of the sound card, and then click Properties.
4. Click the General tab, and then look in the Device status box to identify problems with the sound card.

Audio is not working for P5SD2-VM motherboard...

You probably need Microsoft UAA drivers first
1) Remove any installed audio drivers through device manager
2) Download Microsoft UAA drivers for your O/S
3) Install them and reboot
4) go to device manager right click sound and update driver
It will go on the net and in most cases find and install them

Sound

check the sound and audio devices in control panel. under the sound audio devices click hardware> and choose the default devices for audio. or check the device manager. settings>control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound, video and game controller> if there is a ? (question mark) means there's no driver installed, you can right click the device that has question mark and update driver. or install the driver by knowing first your audio devices.

if you have a installer for your audio device just reinstall it, if not try to download first for a program called Belarc Advisor. this program allows to identify what kind of device you have in your computer, you can download it through this link: http://www.download.com/3001-2001_4-10867615.html after installing it, its normal for a long pauses in the progress bar cauze its profiling. when its done open your web browser and look the category for main circuit board. there you can see what audio device you have. after knowing the model type . your can download it a list of driver in www. driverguide.com. Just pm if this would help. thanks.

My computer have no sound output

i think the audio driver is not installed ...
try installing the audio driver ...
to hear sound audio codecs are required so just install the audio driver given in the manufacture cd while the purchase of the PC or motherboard ...
if already installed then go to control panel > sound & audio devices there you check the audio is it installed or not if it is installed then it will show the volume panel ... if not it will show you no audio device available ...
then you must install the audio driver ... if installed then also facing this problem then go to control panel >system>device manager>check the sound devices uninstall them & then reinstall the audio driver ...
this must solve your problem ...
if still problem persists then check the speakers & wires correctly ...
& check if it inserted to the audio jack only or not ..
check in audio panel is the volume is muted...
if you still persist the same problem then there may be some problem in the port or loose contact check it ...
