Replaced bulb and the TV still doesn't work. I have to push the system reset and the light will flash quickly green. It will stay green and we get sound but no screen. Then after a minuet or two the light goes red and shuts down. scott_donna@charter.net

    the fan was running the whole time the tv was off. I thought that was strange.I don't know anything about this TV.So you will have to guild me as to where to look for the ballast board.

    I just checked and the fan works.

Ballast board or defective Lamp Fan will cause this Go to Encompass Parts Distribution and type in your model # for list of Parts/Prices, Also look on power supply board for defective capaciotrs they will be vented,swollen or puffed up on Top.
Ballast board is what turns Lamp on and if the Lamp fan is defective TV will not turn on because set is designed to protect Lamp from over heating.

    Ballast Board connects to the Lamp follow the 2 plugins where Lamp Plugs into that will be your Ballast Board, Also Use your Goolge search bar and Type in Encompass Parts Distribution

    Once you are their then type in your model number They are listing Free Service manual on the first page up top on left hand side WD52525pfd click on it and you can print it out while online.

    They are listing Parts/prices ,another thing Mitsubishi are known for Bad Capacitors,so make sure they are OK first.If they are OK then Ballast board. I look for Parts on Ebay under Electronics

    I have found Parts alot cheaper their,and Behind the DMD board check the Fan their.

If the TV does not stay on, press the POWER button on the control panel for at least eight seconds to perform System Reset. The TV will turn off. If this happens frequently, obtain an AC line power conditioner/surge protector.

An unusual digital signal may have been received, triggering a protection circuit. Wait for the light to stop flashing and turn TV on.

Trying to replace lamp in HDTV and having trouble. Does not function correctly after putting in new bulb. Boots up and then visuals go black and the green power light keeps flashing. Help?

Panasonic DLP TV Bulbs

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

TY-LA1001 Timer reset

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.

I have a Mitsubishi WD 60738 and the stand by light on the front of the tv was staying on and was orange. I removed the power supply and blew out all the dust and reinstalled the power supply and now the...

Hello Jeff;
If the TV does not turn on or off, does not respond to the remote
control or the control panel buttons, or has audio but no video:
1.) Press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for ten seconds. The TV will turn off.
2.) Power on the TV and the green LED will flash quickly for about one minute. The changes you made most recently, before using SYSTEM RESET, may be lost.

If the TV does not respond to the remote control or to the control-panel buttons and TV will not power on or off.
• Unplug the AC power cord for 10 seconds.
• Press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for 10
seconds to perform a system reset.

If the TV turned itself off and the light on the front panel started to flash:
• Momentary power fluctuation can cause the TV to turn off to prevent damage. Wait for the green light to stop flashing and turn the TV on again.
• If the TV does not stay on, press the POWER button on the
control panel for ten seconds to perform a System Reset. If this happens frequently, obtain an AC line power conditioner/surge protector.
• An unusual digital signal may have been received, triggering a
protection circuit. Wait for the light to stop flashing and turn TV
on.

If the TV will not power off, press the POWER button on the control panel for ten seconds to perform a System Reset.

Should you still have problems, call for assistance at 1(800) 332-2119

I would not recommend using compressed air or any other method that would blow dust around- since the dust could make its way into the set's circuitry via the grille or vents and cause problems. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment instead.

Sounds as though the system may have overheated. Do you regularly check the filters and clean them? An airduster can also help to blow dust out of hard to reach places.

Magnavox tv when the power button is pressed the green light comes on but nothing else happens; there's no picture or sound or nothing; but the green light simply stays lit (no blinking).

Hello,

first, press the channel -/+ button on the TV. If that doesn't turn on the TV, then it means you have to replace the bulb of your TV. The bulb is most likely dead.

Replace the bulb and your TV should be restored.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards.

Hello
make a System Reset process. To do this;
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off, press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may again turn on the TV. The changes you made the last time the TV was on before you used the SYSTEM RESET button may be lost, however, the changes that were previously saved are not lost.
OK.

Mitsubishi tv keeps turning off.

Hello there please check the following in your tv;

Reset the component settings. Most problems with Mitsubishi projection televisions can be resolved by resetting the television to factory settings

If this does not work then a full system reset should be performed on the control panel by pressing the System Reset button. The television will turn off and the green LED light will flash quickly for a minute. When the light stops flashing, the TV will turn on.

If that still doesn't work, then the projection lamp might need replacing and here is how to do that;

Ensure that the bulb is completely cooled and the television is unplugged. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the lamp compartment cover. Unscrew the lamp cartridge on the rear of the television. As opposed to the cover door, these screws do not actually come out of their chamber and simply loosen the lamp assembly. Remove the old cartridge and insert the new one. Secure the lamp with screws, then replace the cover and screw in tightly.

Please note that, Finger oils can cause the lamp to malfunction.

Projection lamps are powered by mercury. Wash hands thoroughly after replacing the projection bulb.

GOODLUCK
