SOURCE: Alpine TDM-7546 push source button goes radio to

try disconnecting the changer for an hour or so and see if it resets itself. sometimes it may be best to disconnect it overnight to be sure.

Where can I find a faceplate for Alpine TDA-7563e player

They come up on ebay every now and then. That is a very old unit. I would try the Facebook group old school car stereo for sale and possibly the alpine group.

How do you remove an Alpine 7554R from a 1995 mondeo.

The plastic trim was held on, not in the modern way,by a clip in the centre of both sies of the radio/ cassette, which is part circular in shape. This opens up and fits round a pin on the side of the radio, steady pressure with a small screw driver will ease this off, but be carefull not to break the side clipse off, as I think they will be irreplaceable now.I haven't seen a plasic trim held on the same way before. The radio will now slide out of the case as there are no clips as there are on newer alpine models

Looking for a face plate for a tda 7563 can you help me find one thank you.

Any Alpine Dealer can get it for you. they range from 150-300 depending on the model. Call a car audio shop and they can quote you a price. Otherwise, "craigs list" or "Ebay". Unlikely but possible. Hope this helps

Alpine cda7969r display problem

Hi trinder,
I fixed my Alpine TDA-7563 with the same problem. My display was completely blank everything else worked. After checking that the LCD display is getting power and everything else in the face that I can think of, I thought maybe the rubber LCD contacts were squeezed down or something and not making proper contact, so I just pushed it back onto the board and pressed.
This was at night, so I had an external lamp and noticed to my delight that the display was in fact working, nothing is wrong with it.
I am embarrased to say that as a technician I forgot that an LCD display needs a backlight, duh.
So a simple connectivity test on the 2 lamps shows that they are both blown.
I have to source them at my local electronics store, I measured the power supply to them as 12Volts, so it is just a matter of getting ones with the right dimensions and bright enough.
Hope you have the same problem, then it will be an easy fix for you.
Good luck,
Ramesh
