SOURCE: Wireless LED blinking, normal?

i'm having the same probs but, to answer your concern over the blue lights, her'es the deal.
your router has 7 antennas inside and each of the led's represents an antenna. as the router scans for something to connect to the led's will blink. it will eventually lock on to a signal from a wireless laptop or usb reciever and the 2 strongest signals will be used for transmitting/recieving data, shown by 2 solid led's.

SOURCE: MSI RG60G : Firmware upgrade failed or ROM not burn in flash completely

Did the firmware install completely, or did the download get interrupted?

In the manual it should tell you how to log into the router. Have you tried doing so?

If the download was interrupted then you have a corrupt version of firmware that leaves your router inoperable. The only way to correct this is to reinstall the firmware.

SOURCE: DI-524 status led not blinking

Here are the instructions

  1. Make sure that you have a copy of the latest firmware and it has an *.exe file with it. Because the router's configuration page won't be available, you'll be needing the exe to some sort of force the firmware upgrade procedure.
  2. Unplug everything attached to your router except the power cable and LAN cable connected to your pc.
  3. Configure your TCP/IP with this info: IP:192.168.123.253, Default mask:255.255.255.0, Default Gateway:192.168.123.254 and DNS Server:192.168.123.254 (Use only 1 DNS server). Save this new configuration and reboot your pc.
  4. Unplug the power cable to your router as the pc reboots. When everything is up and running, plug the power cable. The status led will be flashing like crazy. It's normal.
  5. Use the exe file to upgrade your firmware. Make sure that the utility file (exe file) is able to recognize your router or else you won't be able to do a firmware upgrade. Now this may take a while, keep pressing the Refresh button to recognize your router. Once recognized you would see there 192.168.0.1 crash. Once you have this, you can now press the upgrade button.
  6. Wait for a while until the unit finishes the upgrade and once done, I think you have recovered the life of your router from the pits of hell. Hahahaha.
  7. You can now unplug the power of the router and restart your pc, see if everything is doing fine.
Hope this helps.

If the power light is blinking then you can try to reset the router.
Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 30 seconds. Unplug the power and plug it back in. Wait for 30 seconds.
Check the status of power light on the router.

The only light on my router is the router light. No other lights are coming on. I have tried rebooting.

When facing the router, Globe/Internet LED is on the right. Below are the LED indicators; Check the steps below:

Wireless Security - This light will only turn on if the wireless security is enabled.

Wireless-Computer Status - This light will turn on if a wireless computer is connected to the router.

Wired-computer Status - This light will turn on if a wired computer is connected to the router. Connect the wired computer to any gray port on the router. (There are 4 gray ports).

Router Status - Power light. Solid blue means the router is on and ready.

Modem Status - If this is off, it means the router is not connected to the modem. Make sure the cable is connected from the modem to the yellow port on the router.

Internet Status - This light will indicate if the router is connected to the internet.

If this is the first time you are installing the router, then what is important is to get the router, wired-computer and modem lights ON. Once they are on, you may insert the CD that came with the Belkin router to setup the internet connection and wireless settings.

I have connected Lantronix UDS1100 Device with Siemens AZL Meters. But not able to get complete data on front end.

The UDS has the following LEDs, which help you diagnose problems.
Power LED (green)
Ethernet 10/100 Link (yellow = 10 Mb/green = 100 Mb)
Ethernet Half/Full Duplex Activity (yellow = Half Duplex/green = Full Duplex)
Diagnostic (red)
Status (green)
Simultaneously lit Diagnostic (red) and Status (green) LEDs mean something is
wrong. If the Diagnostic LED is lit or blinking, count the number of times the Status
LED blinks between its pauses. The following table explains the LED functions:

CISCO 2600 Router Troubleshooting

This is the indicator configuration for the 2600, if the lights are yellow there is a problem.

The following indicator LEDs provide power, activity, and status information:
POWER (green)—Lit when power is on
RPS (green)
Off—No redundant power supply (RPS) is present
Blinking—System is booted, RPS is present, RPS failure
Continuous on—System is booted, RPS is present, no RPS failure
ACTIVITY (green)
Slow, steady blinking—System is booting
Blinks during system activity, such as interrupts and packet transfers
I suggest going to Cisco.com for full documentation on this product.

Wireless LED blinking, normal?

Same problem here - wireless light starts blinking and I get a network interruption. At that point, I have to walk across the house and downstairs to cycle the power on the router to get it working again. What a pain - and the manual doesn't even mention a blinking status for that light. I'm thinking about hooking the router up to a automated power switch (X12) so I can remotely cycle the power.
