Ge washer wjrr4170g agitating very hard and rough and out of balance but is level on the floor. What is possibly wrong?

Hello Trina;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

Go into Searspartsdirect.com. In put your model number. Ther will be a diagram showing your rod springs. I suspect you have a bad rod spring or it has come loose. The rod spring stabilizes the washer drum during agitation and spin cycle. These are relatively inexpensive parts approximately $16.00 each.

Lets repair this together. I have faith in you Trina. No man required.
Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off.
To replace this part you need to open the top cover. There are two retaining clips, one on the right and one on the left. If you look into where the top cover meets the front plate you will see these clips. With a putty knife or a spatula push on these clips to release the top cover. Raise the cover up.
Now, you need to remove the front cover. First disconnect the electrical connector to the door latch. Using a small screw driver wedge between the connector for release.
You will see screw on the inside at the top of the front cover. One on each side. They are either Phillips head screws of hex head screws. Remove these fasteners. Lift up on the front cover. There are tabs that go into slots. You may have to play with the position of tabs and slot to remove. You will now have access to the rod springs.
If the rod springs are loose tighten the threaded fasteners. If they are broken replace. You probably have only one broken. Keep running the dishwasher then you will have both broken.

Loose Handel that engages the blade. Took steering wheel off and cover and it's not moving any springs.

You have to remove the cover and check to see if the spring end has broken. This happens after awhile due to friction on the engagement spring. You can re-bend the spring into a half circle then reconnect. If this gives you trouble then replace with new spring. Hope this helps, plese post solved on fixya.com.So I get credit for a solved problem if it does. If not, check back and give me more info.

Kodak slide projector flap block the slide fron viewing

The spring that tensions the shutter is either unhooked or broken. The spring is located on the outboard side of the slide gate - - & is positioned vertical. Without this spring in place & functioning, the shutter will cover part or all of the projected image path.

How do u remove the cover to change the bulbs on panasonic whisper-fit low-pro?

The cover is gently pulled down.
It only comes down so far, as it's held up by springs.

There are four springs. Two on each side. To gain more clearance on one side to replace the bulb/s, you disconnect the end of two springs on one side.
After the bulb/s are changed out, reconnect the springs, ease the cover back into position.

Replace broken door springs F&P dw918td

To replace the door springs, you need to remove both the side covers. This can be done by first removing the lid and then working your way around both panels until they come off. You will then see on either side a cord that is attached to a single spring.routed on a small bend. Very unlikely the spring is broken but possibly the cord has or it has pulled loose from its position. Rectify then reassemble.

My husky is an automatic and it does not shift into drive anymore

You may have broken a clutch spring. Husky automatics use 3 springs for each of the 3 gears. Each spring controls a clutch shoe. A broken spring would prevent you from engaging a gear and causes other mischief inside the case. You should remove the left case cover and inspect. Halls Husqvarna has parts catalogs for almost every year. Thumpertalk.com has a discussion thread on this problem.
